Hello Everyone, today I am going to show you how to crochet this easy ribbed Men's Scarf. Its super easy and fast to crochet. Great as a Gift for your Hubby / Grandpa or any Men of your Life. Have a great time crocheting!
I love this pattern, my husband lost the last scarf I made him over a year ago and though I vowed not to make another it's Christmas and it is on the top on his list lol. Thank you it's going to be a favorite I can see that already
Hi Claudetta!👋 I really like this pattern for a scarf. I'm making this for a resident at a place I volunteer at and he's a Vietnam vet. I made him a hat using the back Loop only. Thank you for making this very easy and beautiful looking scarf
Hi! Thanks you so much for such a lovely men's scarf tutorial 😊 just finished my scarf i crochet for my brother in law. I am absolute beginner. Just followed your instructions and results perfect. You are an amazing instructor. Stay blessed, happy & healthy.
Thank you so much! You taught me how to crochet my very own scarf. I’m new to this hobby and this was amazingly well done and thank you for teaching me!
Hii I’m 11 and I really wanna make a scarf for my dad is this easy ? And yes I know the basics of crocheting I started in June I think I’m capable of this I hope I can do it 💕🤩
@@pawscompilation8968 that's awesome! I know he must be very proud of it! I started crocheting when I was 11 too and I'm 43 now. You know what? I still make mistakes. We all do. So don't ever let them keep you from trying again. That's how we learn! Happy Chrocheting!
Thank you for providing this video. I have not crotchet any pieces for 30 years and this video of the Men's scarf will be my first project. Hope I don't mess it up too much. I also used a 4 weight yarn and a 6.5mm hook. So far it looks beautiful. I have been making extra rows to make it extra big for my brother. Thank you.
I used a 4 weight yarn ..6.5mm hook and chained 220 turned out beautiful. Love the pattern. Want to try it in the thicker yarn next. Thanks for sharing
I like the idea of 220 stitches. You think that will be alright for a shawl also? I followed another tutorial and it needed 300 stitches. I made it and it was absolutely too long. What do you think 220 for a shawl??
This was an EXCELLENT tutorial. I appreciate the fact that you filmed it up close to ensure your viewers could see each step up taken, each stitch made and the place where you began the row to ensure we saw exactly where to began the row .... and the light colored yarn made it easy to see also. The fact that you speak so clearly, slowly and calmly made it easy to follow. The video is quick and short so I could just watch the pattern over break and rewind quickly to get it. Very well done. Thank you so much!! I can’t wait to start this pattern and create my own scarf too. It’s been hard finding an easy pattern for a Man’s scarf??!! So thanks again for sharing. This is a pattern I know I can do too. Thanks for sharing your gifts and talents with the world and allowing us to learn and follow along easily!! Excellently done! God bless you and your family and Hod bless your RU-vid channel. 👍☺️
Thank you for making this easy to follow, I'm making a few of these for my husband's co-workers and boss and when I'm done with them I'm going to make him one. Again thank you so much for making this so easy to follow
This was an excellent video tutorial and one I found to be very helpful. Filming up close allowed me to follow along easily and clearly see each and every step without question. The speed was perfect. Not too fast or too slow. Thank you for always being so considerate of your viewers whether we’re new to crocheting or just looking for a new pattern. Your videos are always very helpful and ones I highly recommend to friends and strangers admiring my scarves made utilizing your patterns. I believe in giving credit where credit is due and recognizing a spirit of excellence in motion every day in every way. Thank you for sharing and thank you for caring. Big hugs!
Thank you for presenting an excellent tutorial on how to create the classic ribbed scarf. I really appreciate you filmed up close so we could see each and every stitch and step taken clearly and unmistakably. Your explanations were very clear and easy to understand and follow! So thank you for sharing! I am excited to start this project and gift my scarf. Thanks again for creating an excellent tutorial!!! Awesome work!! Just awesome!! 👍😄
Thank you mam..lovely scarf..I'm a bigginer n I started doing ..thank you for the detailed tutorial..if you advise the chains in multiples instead of 158..i think that will be more usefull to adjust the width..
Great instructions, great pattern. I am currently working on this for my husband and am on row 5, I can’t believe how easy this is (I am fairly new at crocheting). It is turning out really well.
Hi... I made a scarf for my father by following your video tutorial. It looks great and made my father really happy. Thank you for teaching us on how to crochet this wonderful scarf.
I'm an intermediate crocheter who has some lambs wool yarn that I am totally intimidated by. This is the pattern I'll use to make a scarf because I feel like it will not outshine the yarn; this yarn is the star not the stitch. Thanks so much for your tutorial!!
This is helpful and useful tips, thanks a lot for making it easy, and I have a quick question can I use a hook no. 5, cause now I don't have that size of yarn? ♥️♥️
Hello Claudette, yes I always enjoy your tutorials. You make magic with your stitches. Would you please consider making a more advance mens scarf. Also, for those interested in customizing this scarf can you comment? Thanks
I am a beginner crocheter and was looking for a simple scarf pattern for a man and this is wonderful. Thank you. New subscriber. Love that you start right from the beginning of the work, explain well, visual is great.
Browsing your video is like reading a good book! I have benefied a lot! Thank you for your hard work!🥰 Your channel is great. I'll never get used to saying it is worthy of a million likes! Fully watched! 💯🥰
Hii, love this video, and I'm making one for mh boyfriend. The only thing missing was you didn't show how long the whole scarf was using 158 chains, and that would have been helpful for me to adjust. Thanks for a lovely pattern option for guys!
Claudetta, This looks fun and easy and I think I may try it:) I want to make it for my stepson who is 6' 5" tall! Do you think 158 stiches will make it long enough? I am using Cascade 220 Aran weight yarn. I was actually looking for a Tunisian Crochet pattern for a man's scarf?? If I did that I guess I can just make it the width I want and any stitch or stitches I like and make it as long as i want. thanks!
Claudetta, What do you do if you run out of yarn in the middle of the row How do you join it? Is it the same as you join at the end of a row, or when you change colours?
Hi Claudetta, I Love this pattern. I have a question: I can't tell if you are going in the back loop only or through both loops in the last stitch? Does it matter? Thank-you.
Hello from India. It's a very very easy pattern and you kept a very good pace. What are the dimensions of this scarf? The thing is I do not have chunky yarn and would be using 2 strands of thinner yarn. I'd really appreciate your response
You could work up a swatch that's just 20 stitches wide and see how much that measures. Then once you know how many stitches for each inch of crochet you can work out how many chains to start out with for the length you need. So if 20 chains gives you 5 inches, then you are getting 4 stitches to the inch. Say you want a 60" scarf, you multiply 60 by 4 which is 240 chains to start.
