Just yesterday I was thinking hmm I wish I could do a patchwork blanket but I don’t wanna do granny squares (done it already. Love it but didn’t want any holes) and I also didn’t want to just go back and forth with dc or hdc and have rough looking edges that don’t like clean and finished. This is perfect. The corner to corner is interesting enough that I won’t get bored but not so complicated that I can’t do anything else while crocheting. AND you don’t have to decide on the size of your square right away. You can just keep stitching till you hit your desired size. Thank you so much. Truly. ❤️❤️❤️
I fell in love with this blanket. I’m currently making one of my own, using ombré yarn by Caron Big Cakes. My last name is Berry, so I bought these colors... Night Berry, Cranberry Crisp, Sugared Blueberries, Raspberry Ice, and Boysenberry. ♥️
So glad I found this. I needed a destash project. I enjoy corner to corner too. I gathered my acrylic yarn that I have that doesn't have a label and I'm going to make squares until I run out of yarn. I'm not using anything new just some that maybe I only used a little bit of. Looking forward to working on this and I have wanted to do a large blanket for our king size bed and like the idea of breaking it down into smaller squares. Perfect timing
After my last King Size c2c bedspread I said I’d never do another, but this pattern looks so much more doable, even with my arthritis playing up frequently these days, I can just just think one square at a time, blocking a few at a time, so less intimidating, and a beautiful blanket in the end! I love your joining method too. Thank you, I have bought the pattern on Ravelry, & I’m sure I have more than enough yarn in my stash, happy days! 🥰
I know this video was done a year ago, but I came across it and I loved the size and colors. Since I am still kind of new to c2c, I thought this would be a good practice for me, and I'm really getting good at it. I am going to make this one for my bed, then I am going to work on a Unicorn blanket for my granddaughter who is 5.
I have been trying to find a pattern that I like for a queen size bed and thanks to you I found it...love it for 3 reasons love the texture, you can work it on the go and I will be doing the corner to corner for the first time...beautiful TFS!!! Just trying to come up with my color scheme
Beautiful ❤️ 😍 now I just have to watch it couple of times and learn properly how to make this gorgeous blanket. It's all new for me 😁😉, I hope I'll be able to make it.
THANK YOU !!! Your tutorial is the FIRST C2C tutorial that I can follow and understand. I've always hated this pattern because everyone else made it so difficult but not you. I'm looking forward to doing this blanket. Thank you again.
Such a beautiful blanket. I’ve been pretty intimidated by the C2C and doing such a large project, but I believe I can master this one. Lol Thank you so much for this video and helping me with my confidence. 🌸🦋❤️
Hi M j I love doing this and have made a few. Thanks to you.. I was wondering could I do this join on a granny square blanket too.. Thanks for. All you do.. ❤❤❤
Hi. This squares are so pretty. I am new in crocheting, and I am wondering what is the name of the stitch you used to make the squares. Thank you for your tutorial.
Hi! I would like to make this blanket in queen size using two colors and white. Can someone help me do the math on this? How much of MC and two colors I want to use. Thank you.
Is your worsted weight yarn Aran if so what do you call double knit wool? because I live in the UK I have notice these days how thin double knit wool has gone & how Aran has also gone a bit thin too
I was the same at the beginning. I started watching tutorials on RU-vid and I was able to follow patterns. I can' now follow just about any patterns. It does take time and practice, but it's worth it. I have made many projects for my family and friends that they have loved. Good luck.
Beautiful! Great on the go project that can be joined at home later. I've never used the Brava yarn. May I ask, is it soft? I'd like to make this for my niece for Christmas, but she has skin allergies to many things so she is picky about blankets, sweaters, etc. Thanks for sharing!
I love this joining method it’s so neat but can I use it with my granny squares? My granny squares are smaller so might not look good also would it be in every gap? Hope you can advise me 🤔
