Hey just wanted to comment about how useful your tut was :D I'm currently back here re-checking the pattern since I'm making my second vest! Amazing tut
Hi, thank you so much for this great tutorial, i'm now working on my dream vest🥰 But i have a question, can you please write what width does the back and front parts have separately?
Hey, I just wanted to say that the vest looks amazing. Now, I wanted to recreate it using the exact same colours, and I was wondering wether you mind sharing the exact Name for the White yarn, since the Website where I looked it up had two different kinds of "white" and I couldn't tell which one of them was the one you used🥰
Thank you Süreyya for sharing your skills! I've checked a couple of other videos on these types of sweaters and yours was my favourite (despite the fact there's no sound haha) 💖 I'm working on my own cardigan and everything is detailed and clear I'm enjoying it 😄
I‘m sorry about the sound :( i had to upload it for the second time that‘s the reason why there is no sound!🌸 thank you for your lovely comment i‘ll be very happy if you can share your work with me via email „a.sureyya98@gmail.com“
@@surishandskills9161oh It's totally ok for the sound 🤗 Thanks for the email adress! I will send you a photo once I finish it.. I'm going slowly so it will take time haha :) Do you also have an Instagram page?
i wish you would show us how to crotchet around the neck and your arms in the video 😭 but this gotta be the easiest so far to make a sweater vest as a beginner. thankyou!😍 and your sweater look super gorgeous❤
Thank you su much!❤️ there will be come a video about that how you can crochet the v neck and arm ribbing part ❤️ it‘s very easy really🙈 you have to do the same thing as I did on the bottom ripped part. Just with chaining 9 on the v-neck part and chaining 4 on the arm ribbing part❤️
Hi!! I love the video and I’m having so much fun but I was just wondering what you do for the back half of the vest. Do you decrease at all on the back? What does the back look like? And also, will you ever be doing a video on how to do the stitches around the arms and neck? 🧶
Hello❤️❤️ at the back side i crocheted it normal also do the same thing as i did on the front part but don‘t crochet the v neck part just keep going straight🤭❤️ about the arm and neck ribbing part it is also the same as i did on the bottom ripped part for the neck chain 9, work on the back loops make halfdc and for the arm part chain 4 work on the back loop make halfdc and repeat until you reached your own length🙈❤️
Yes you‘re right. But it was the same thing as a I did in the bottom ripped part. That‘s the reason why I don‘t showed you the neck and arm part :/ I‘m sorry 🌸😭
I am so excited to make my own sweater vest!! I have a question though, what is the size of this sweater vest? is it small or medium size?? btw thank you for this tutorial
how much did u end up using? i think im gonna make one too but im going on vacation and i wanna make it there so i need enough yarn. plss help me out!!
After you did the single crochet for the brim and then did a half double crochet for the next row, did you continue to do sc then hdc again row after row? Or did you only do half double crochet after that?
When you say repeat until you have 56cm, do you mean add another row of single crochets and then a row of half double crochets? or repeat only half double crochets for the rest of it?
@@camillefiguereo3416 yes when I did it I started with 70 but had to add a few more so I would be slightly looser so I think it ended up around 75 ish. Can’t remember fully
How many stitches did you put in you ribbing? Did you do the same amount of stitches as there were rows? (Ex. If I have 81 rows I should have 81 stitches in the ribbing)
i have 3 questions, how did you finish making the front part, i mean how long is the part where it splits? And I don't understand how you did the back? And how did you tie the second part of the shoulder, like the second part when everything was separated?
Heyy🌸 Sure it will fit on a person with a plus size. You can add more rows at the ripped part for the bottom which I showed it just follow my steps😊 with adding more rows you can make your own sweater vest💪🏼
@@uniquebeauties1864 Measure loosely around your waist. Each panel has to be half as wide as that number. Measure from the top of your shoulder down to where it is most comfortable for you. This is the length of your panel. Mine will be both wider and longer than the example shown. ;)
When you are first crocheting (after the bottom section) with the green and then the cream, are you doing one row of each and then swapping or two? Because I did one but then my yarn of the opposite color is on the wrong side. Am I supposed to add a separate piece of the color I need and pull that through? I love the sweater by the way!!
Great tutorial^^ I wanted to do 2 colours like in the video but made a mistake and ended up making it with 3 colours. But still one question, when you made the rim for the arms and the neck how did you connect them? Did you sew them together in the end?^^
@@ghadeerhisham1856 I am a beginner as well and I figuerd it out. You basically crochet a rim that is around 5 to 6 chains like you did at the bottom rim and then sew them onto the v-neck starting with one and when it is attached you do the same with the othr one making it overlap.^^ I hope that kinda makes sense, it is hard to explain in english for me.^^
Hi, I tried to do your project because I loved how it looked. After many many many hours of trying to do it, I realized when i put it on that it was wayy too large for me. ☹️ Do you have any idea how i could make it less large so it can be wearable?
If you want it smaller then on the bottom ripped part don‘t add more rows. If you want it bigger/larger then add more rows on the bottom ripped part honey😊❤️
Thank you for the great video💗! Before I want to make this, could you tell me what you think approximately what the size is for this vest? I worry I will make it and put in so much time and I won't fit!😭
The size of the sweater vest is S/36, but it can be fit on people who wear the size XS,S,M,L. It has a oversized look i think it can be fit on everybody who wants to make this.❤️ The length of the vest is 63cm and the width 57cm❤️ wish you look you can do it 😊
I‘m wearing Size Small 34/36, but it will be fit on Medium size. If you want it more oversized then you can add more rows on the bottom ripped part❤️ & then just follow the steps🌸
hello! what type of yarn did you use? is it milk cotton? and how many grams is it? thank you so much, and i super loved how it turned out so i really wanna start doing mine! tysm for this tutorial
Ahh this sweater vest is so cute😻 and sorry sister, I want to ask, what yarn did you use to make this? and what size is this sweater vest? sorry, my body is very small (probably all the clothes I'm wearing right now are all size M😅). I can't wait to make this beautiful sweater vest, I hope my question is answered hehew:>
No, absolutely not… if you want it bigger you have to add more rows on the bottom ripped part then continue the same way how i showed you on the video❤️
I didn‘t show it bc it‘s the same as I did on the front panel just don‘t do the v-neck part keep going normal until you reached the length of 63cm. Arm and neck ribbing part is the same as i did on the bottom ripped part just with chaining 9 (neck part) and chaining 4 (arm part).
@@surishandskills9161 did you do everything the same way for the back panel (minus the v-neckline? Or did you do something else as well for the end of the beck panel (top part)? Sorry, I am really confused 😅
Hi thank you for the tutorial! I just have a quick question-what do you mean by making a single crochet through all the holes that you can see? After I finished the 56 cm, I don't really see any holes because I do tight stiches.
Basically every last stich at the end of the rows(single/half double crochet) you do a single crochet. So you’ll get a chain on the side and the number of chain=the number of rows of alternate single half double crochet
@@surishandskills9161 It is spanish :D, but dont worry i can translate It for u. She/He/ They said: Hi!!! Im doing the crochet, i love It 😍 Could you Tell me wich are the measures of It? How long It Is in total? Please I wanna know to do It bigger or as you did 👉👈
The only part that ALWAYS confuses me in tutorials is when you add another color onto your hook. When I try this, my other color never carries along with my movements, it stays where I started it while I move on with my other color as if I knotted it in place (which I might of but I don’t know when) any pointers on what Im doing wrong? Crocheting is still very new to me and I don’t know all the stitches and correct terms.
When you make a knot at the beginning for example with the white yarn work with color white and the other color (green) you have to take it on the back side bc if you turn your project you‘ll work with the green color I hope i could explain it well if you don‘t understand my comment You can ask me again which part is confusing your mind ☺️🌸
can you please show us how you do the ends? its a bit confusing since i dont know if i need to reach the very last chain at the side, or just the last one
@@surishandskills9161 omg thank you for responding!! sorry btw hahah i mean at the end of every row, (im new at this so im sorry) idk why it keeps getting smaller
Hello, may i know the step to do the v shape neck part? I mean..how did you crochet left and right side to make it v shape. Did you decrease after finish each line? Is it must be done separately and sew it together?
I crocheted it separately and sew it together. For the v neck part you have to chain 9 and then make single crochets into each chain, chain 1 turn your work and now work only on the back loops and make half double crochets and repeat until you reached the desire length😊 after you finished the v neck ribbing part just sew it on☺️ that‘s it, it is the same as I did on the bottom ripped part
@@surishandskills9161 sorry,,i didn't actually asked about ripped part,,what i mean is,how did you do the V shape part at the top of the vest(the one that have to do SC and DC repeatedly),how did you decrease the chain to make it V shape?
Okay, I've found all the answers in the comments, so I'm here to share so you don't waste time for searching: P.S. SÜRIS HANDSKILLS, can you please add this to your description below the video? 🙏 I really enjoy your video, but for me, as a beginner, this information is really missing "Hello❤❤ at the back side i crocheted it normal also do the same thing as i did on the front part but don‘t crochet the v neck part just keep going straight🤭❤ about the arm and neck ribbing part it is also the same as i did on the bottom ripped part for the neck chain 9, work on the back loops make halfdc and for the arm part chain 4 work on the back loop make halfdc and repeat until you reached your own length🙈❤" "I didn‘t show it bc it‘s the same as I did on the front panel just don‘t do the v-neck part keep going normal until you reached the length of 63cm. how many spools of yarn do you need to make this shirt, i also want to make a shirt like this but i don't know how many rolls of yarn it takes to make them
