you can’t please everyone! a lot of crochet is just basics! (fd hdc, inc dec, etc) i think people are just intimidated by shapes, and maybe their skill set is limited and that’s okay! everything about crochet is trial and error and i think its good you didn’t do a pattern for every single little detail and size. its good for people to be able to take a pattern and figure out how to apply it to their own projects!!! all of the shoes turned out AMAZING btw

It’s a local boy in our community that has done this technique on shoes … hats and bags !!! But we are all creatives and have similar ideas!!! God plants the seed we just create and grow!!! As well as there is no real wrong way to do things in the world of creating… other than that great video… Never down play others unless they are just stealing all together… Congratulations on your brand deal!!! Thank you for explaining how you do it instead of writing an exact pattern. I’m in that stage of my crocheting where I want to start thinking in crochet terms rather than blindly following a pattern. I actually used this tutorial to crochet over a video game controller case for my partner.
