How many half doubles did you use, in the first row?

Hi! I don't know how many were in this example, but you need to chain any odd number of chains, HDC in the second chain and across. So the first row of half doubles is an even number. You can check the pattern for more details, the link is in the description. 😊

You're welcome! :) This is how I did the colour changes: I completed the round with the old colour and connected with a slip stitch the same way as in previous rounds, still with the old colour. Then I joined the new colour and chained one to secure that new yarn. Make sure to tighten the chain 1, make it very small as it only serves as a knot, to secure the yarn. Then work the first puff st per normal. I left the old colour hanging on the wrong side of the project and picked it up in the next round. Hope this helps! :)
