Thank you for displaying this pattern. You explain it very well! I wear a size 7 shoe in US, and I used 2 strands of baby yarn with a 3 1/2 mm hook or size 4, and I omitted last row of toe, and omitted row 19. They came out to fit well, and would fit a 71/2 or 8 shoe size too. Thank-you very much! I used size 3mm hook for shoe size US 7.

I like the diagram with stitches to explain even more. Has helped me figure out how to read a 'pattern diagram' like this. I don't know what it's called or even know how to learn this before now. Have seen these diagrams in books, but had no idea how to begin learning how. Your easy to follow video with diagrams, is very helpful and is opening up a new world for me. I am at beginner level, and this makes it easier for me to progress. Thank you.

I have to say that after multiple self- corrections on the previous comment I made about missing stitches was finally resolved. However I find that in making a short version of the slippers, the opening is so tight that unless I make the completes set of rounds the slippers is not for size 5 or six shoe.

Thanks for the great tutorial! Just one little hint because I know English can be very confusing to learn! In English the “et” in the word crochet makes the “long a” sound at the end. As in: ape or ate. So the “et is basically silent. It’s spoken cro- sha not cro- Shet. We have a foul word for the product of a bowel movement & it’s “shit”. Sadly, every time you say “cro-shet” it sounds terribly close to “shit”! I have disciplined my children for laughing in the background & saying “cro-shit” to tease each other! It’s what we call a “potty mouth” talk common among 8 yr olds!
