For anybody that might be curious as to how well these work, I buy them from the Amish all the time, and I LOVE them! They last a lot longer than you'd think for it being tulle. In fact, most of the ones I've had to toss was more because my husband went ham on them and left them to get gross and smelly then actual wear and tear. My favorite pot and pan tool!

I never thought of using tulle, but it sounds brilliant! It shouldn't stretch, and the netting will scrub well. Can't wait to try this!

I found myself mesmerized by your awesome nails! I’ve never seen any like them! Monarch butterfly? Scrubby tutorial was so easy, I never dreamed of crocheting tulle! This is my 3rd time watching this video, not because it’s difficult, but because watching you crochet and listening to your voice is very relaxing. I’ve been very ill for way too long and I wasn’t able to do much of anything, much less crochet. I’m finally well enough to begin again and I happened upon this video while searching for some that would be easy, interesting and quick enough to hold my attention long enough to complete something and your video was perfect! My son went shopping for me and had no clue whatsoever what tulle was so he sent me pictures with his cell phone and picked out two shades for each just to shake it up a little! Thank you so much for this wonderful easy pattern and instructions. I am so excited to get my life and hobbies going again! I’m headed to your other videos to see what else I might be able to do! 💜🤗😜

A very easy way to keep your yarn from rolling everywhere is to use a clean, empty 2 liter bottle. Simply cut a slit large enough to slip your yarn into...feeding your working end through the pour opening. Also very handy if you have cats, lol

A single skein of yarn or roll of tulle might seem expensive, but think of how many scrubbers you can make. I think that the overall cost per handmade scrubber would be much less than the store-bought ones. I'll have to keep track of that. 🤔

Your pattern is the best. When I was in Hobby Lobby last week, I noticed a yarn that said scrubbie yarn and it didn’t have those little fuzzies on it that make it impossible to see your stitches. The yarn is smooth and a bit rough but it doesn’t bother your hands. I used your pattern and that yarn and voila....a scrubbie was born!! I’m giving these as stocking stuffers. My adult kids love them. Thanks.

This was the first video I watched making the scrubbers. I seen other videos that used 2 or 3 inch wide tulle. Usually they had cut it down to that size, making the tulle weak and warned about tearing and it looked frayed. So far I've made 3 using your easy to follow video. They are thick and sturdy and I love them. Thanks for making it.

I found that a cheap paper towel holder works good to hold rolls of material such as the tulle you are using. Just slide it on instead of a roll of paper towels and the base will usuallt be heavy enough to stay in one place while the roll spins freely

I like these! These would be great with a loop on the end, so they can hang to dry - either a small one for hanging on a little hook, or one large enough to hang over the faucet. Would make nice face scrubbers or larger ones for the bath, made in cotton or cotton blend. These just need to properly air dry.

Don't have a size 10 hook, only 9 and 11.5. Used the 11.5. It's bigger and more open but its going to work just fine. My daughter thinks it will work very well as bath scrubby, I agree.

I love this scrubby i have 1 thats only 1 that i use to scrub paint of my skin and then a double one i use for dishes. My hubby doesnt like the feeling of the scrubby material so he still uses a sponge but he washes the dishes most of the time so i let him use what he wants. 😁

I love IRISHkid's comment, a pet peeve of mine as well....however, you do answer people that the size hook you are using in a "N-9mm" but your written instructions say "N-10mm" Just noticed it because I had to get out that size hook. In the ergonomic ones I have a N hook is a 6mm, the 10mm is an "L". in the all metal ones I have the N size is 10mm . And, I have watched a few other scrubbie tuts and your is by FAR the best! Thanks................

I just started mine & it's bigger also! Looking at your tulle in the video, the strand looks more narrow than mine. I'm thinking if i used half the width, 3" instead of 6" it would look more like yours. Are we supposed to half the width of the tulle?? Awesome video tho :)
