I just found you while looking for a crochet cowl pattern that has a lovely drape. This one sure does. I am using Caron, Simply soft in black. My 47 year old daughter likes black accessories, so I think she will like this for her birthday next week. Keep your fingers crossed. Love, Linda

Jennifer... this looks amazing. You always use such nice yarns for your projects. I ordered a couple skeins of the Venice yarn - it’s a little pricy, but so pretty. I am sure it will be beautiful! Can’t wait to make this cowl when my yarn comes.

Would like to know if this yarn was worsted weight (4) or bulkier. The 8mm hook sounds like a heavier yarn, but it looks more delicate than that.

It started with how you talked to the channel's owner, who might I mention, is a perfect stranger to both of us. (I get the feeling you misunderstood and think I made this video - try to keep up.) Don't come here acting all entitled when it's something that is free, a gift to you and to other viewers. You didn't offer any constructive criticism, and you hardly "complimented" the person when you sandwich it in between two insults. You just commented so you could bitch about how much she talks. Maybe you should think about how you conduct yourself in social forums when you're offered a free pattern with instruction.
