Well my first guess was right but I’ve been waiting forever for a poncho it is sooo beautiful 💕💕💕 I’ve already made the snow berries blanket shawl in key largo tweed with white tassels it took me one night I just love it it will be so warm. I’m gonna try this poncho it’s gorgeous it might take more than one night lol 😂.
I love the style of this poncho and ease of this stitch. I’m doing something wrong because my sides started increasing. I followed along and wrote out the steps. I’m wondering if it would have made more sense to work the width first to avoid so many wonky ends/edges? Anyone else have any tips??

Hey jennifer. First I want to tell you that you are really the best. My absolute favorite. I have a question .. how do I know if my gauge is too lose? I feel like at times it is too loose and at times it is too tight but I really don't know how to tell. I started crocheting a few months ago from watching RU-vid videos and so there are sometimes things I'm not too sure about.
That looks so easy can't wait to try it. Anyone try this with Ombre yarn? I'm addicted to OMBRE anything. I don't want to use a gradient and then it look awful and frog it.

Ja S use multiples of 4 plus 1 so crochet sets of 4 until it's the proper width for your child and add one then continue on with the tutorial hopes this helps
So, does it have a "point" in the back? I want to make this, but thought it would look odd with just a point in the back and you don't show us the back. Please let me know. Thank you very much.
I cannot for the life me figure out how to fold and seam this... it's too zoomed in. I need to see the whole project to understand what and how to fold which end which end to seam together.
