Step-by-step tutorial on how to crochet this Top. This is started at the neck and shoulders with 3 rounds of simple shell pattern. It is then worked down towards the bottom with a different pattern.
Beautiful pattern and work. I see a lot of unanswered questions about what size you are making on camera. That was not stated, and how your viewers can adjust the size for the size they would like to make. That would be good information to state or add in the info box. Otherwise, many will pass on making this pretty top without more guidance. A helpful hint to those who want to make larger sizes. The multiple is 4. Measure your bust and arm hole. For the bust and body: Give yourself room for comfort. I usually add 1/2 to 1 inch ease( or more depending on how I want it to fit) minimum to my bust and body of a garment per side. Be sure your total number is divisible by 4. You can add the couple of numbers needed to make it up. I would not subtract. Next measure the arm hole from the top of your shoulder to where you want to garment to start at the bottom preferably from the back. You will double that measurement to get the circumference. You can chain it out and double check the measurement before you start the pattern.. You can use any yarn you like with this pattern with your individual measurements. Keep in mind yardage will change if you choose a lighter weight than a #4 worsted weight that she's using here. You will need more yardage. Using a lighter weight yarn you will also crochet more rows persection. I hope that helps. Very pretty summer lacy design. I hope these hints might help some that really want to make this lovely top. Happy summer everyone. 🌞
This top is beautiful! I have never got the nerve to try crocheting a top, but I really like how you put the written pattern at the top of your tutorial. That really helps a lot! I have never seen anyone else do that! I will definitely be trying this one! Thank you! ❤️🥰
This is a lovely 🥰 top! I have gotten frustrated and quit on every wearable I’ve tried so far. Hopefully 🙏🏿 I can complete this one! I wish there was a pattern for 3X in this lovely 😊 blouse 👚!
I believe that you can add more multiples to accommodate bust sizes and follow the pattern. I live in Barbados 🇧🇧 and prefer cotton or cotton blended yarns. Acrylics are not for this climate 🙄, so I always improve the chains count according to the yarns I'm substituting.
Ì love this top! The pattern looks complicated but when you start crocheting I think looks a little easier than I thought it would be. Can't wait to give it a try.Thank you for sharing! 🧚♀️
Hi, thanks for using yarn from Michaels, it's nice soft cotton & easy to get. I really like your top & tutorial to make one too. Probably would also look good with Michaels Caron Cotton cakes with the self-striping yarn. Thanks for the sharing.
This is a really cute summer top. What size is it and do you have other sizes with information on the starting chains? Thanks so much for sharing and making the pattern and video.
I would like to know if the rectangular portion can be made a little longer, before starting the arm holes. The top is beautiful and can be made into a dress 👗 😍
Hi Linda! I'm sorry I have not replied to messages. For this particular pattern, it's hard to suggest a different size because it's a bit complex pattern. In my other videos, I do have suggestions for different sizes. Thank you so much!
@@CraftingShed Hello some of us are asking questions about various things, could you find the time to answer back please. Your patterns are very nice but some of them don't have a way to make them a bit bigger. Thanks
This is beautiful as a lot of people have said but not everyone is a s/m. It's not good you don't answer to people who ask this question when they've took time to look at the pattern and message you,i will scroll on now like a lot of people have probably done. Thankyou ☹️
