In this tutorial I did it as slst and chain after each round. Then I had made another bag without slst and chain. It turns out perfect and neat. So I recommend to continue work without slst and chain. 😍
When you say (at the very end) to do one decrease if the bag is wavy, did you mean one decrease on each of the long sides, or just one single decrease, period?
For the base you have to put up enough stiches so the bag can keep it's shape. but it depends on the base size, yarn size and the distance between each spaces.
Can you please explain me why you increase the crochet in second row, I don’t get it Because I really like this bag and my crochet yarn is not 3 mm may be its 2 or less then 2 mm is that ok to use for making this bag?
Because if u don't do the increases, the bag will never get its shape like this. We don't want the bag to be narrow or shrink. And yeah you can work with any thickens but make sure to add stitches when needed to keep its shape. Happy crocheting! 😍
