Agreed. Plus will that work for less voluminous hair? Probably not unless you leave some hair out. Beautiful job tho! I totally appreciate this because I just started making crochet wigs and the middle part lace, I've been making it work but it's a pain at times.
Irony: I just made a similar wig for myself using that same place cap by following a different RU-vid video. Somehow her wig didn't show how HUGE that lace parting is! I worked to cover it, ended up spray painting over the part (my hair is burgandy) but I still don't like it. I am going to do what you did and just snip it and add more combs.
