a thing to do for items you're ambivalent about ditching is to try to style it ahead of time and make it accessible that way you can just grab it when the need strikes (and if you're STILL not wearing it after that then you should get rid of it)

excellent video and delivery. I am actually doing my wardrobe inventory right now - but in an excel spreadsheet. I was a clothes-horse and filled up 5 closets and my dressing room. I discovered that I own 73 bottoms - 73! Way too many for me. My lifestyle has changed now that I'm retired from corporate world - so I'm organizing, purging and loving it. thx!

I watch TONS of closet declutter type videos and I think this was the most fun to watch one I've ever come across. I've watched plenty about finding your style, decluttering, organizing, whatever. But no one has ever talked about style and taste and vision for your look the way you did, it just really clicked with me and renewed my drive to go through my closet which is what I've been looking for. I LOVED the little dancing outfit montage and even more so loved the music choices, you were serving some serious Cher from Clueless vibes. Now I definitely have to go rewatch that asap haha.
Since I started watching your videos I have been so inspired with my style and makeup!! And I just watched this video but actually went through my closet yesterday!! It felt great to donate so many things. And leaves no guilt for getting new things! Thanks so much for your videos, I love them!
For weeks I've been thinking I need new suede boots but after washing the salt off and using some protective spray they're as good as new! Didn't even think of cleaning them. Loved this video xo

Ever since I started doing this last year my fashion sense has been thriving. I usually sell my things to platos closet (although they are a rip off- little money is better than none), give em to my lil sister if she wants it, or donate to the good will!
Fashion is what you present to the world but it is not shallow. I like that quote that "Fashion is introduction without speaking." Fashion is fun and everyone should learn how to dress better. I love fashion and believe I have a great eye, taste, etc. Your style is so cool and edgy; A little similar to mine so that is why I appreciate this video so much! I like the montage; I remember that song from "Clueless!" I hate clutter too! It drives me mad, lol! I am definitely inspired to rediscover items in my closet because I can't go shopping for new things until my birthday in November which is three months away!

This is so similar to what I did when I cleaned out my closet and completely redefined my style. I read the book The Life-changing Magic of Tidying up by Marie Kondo, and that really gave me some good guidance as to what I could get rid of!

And then there is this one pair of plateau sandals you bought when you were 16 and got rid off a couple of years later because the 90ies were over and plateau wasn't a thing anymore. I so wish i could get these sandals back. They were perfect but I was to young to see it back then! 😭
