Hi everyone! (please read this whole comment for updates below!) Please download my E-book here: www.amazon.com/How-Clear-Scalp-Psoriasis-Naturally-ebook/dp/B081L5R6NX In the E-book, I made a FAQ section with more than 25 questions and answers and I am almost 100% sure that you will find the answer to your question in the E-book (sorry I do not have time to answer the same questions I get everyday so I will not answer or reply to comments/messages with answers that you can find in the E-book). Please note, I am not a doctor and I do not have all of the answers but if you follow my routine for at least a month, and if you have the same problem I do, then you should feel relief and see progress. I cannot give advice about alternatives because I have not tried alternatives (besides I did not like coconut oil or olive oil). If you can't or won't use the products I recommend, then please don't ask me because I do not know, sorry! You can try it out for yourself and let everyone know in the comments. 2021 Updates!: 1.) Here’s a new tutorial (i made in 2021) on my ASMR channel how to the do oil treatment: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YpMZ414mjyw.html 2.) If your seborrheic dermatitis is flaring up and the treatment isn't working as good as it usually does for you, try out Ketoconazole 2% shampoo! It's the only dandruff shampoo that works for me: amzn.to/3qzQyDV 3.) And also: I forgot to say how important it is to NOT itch your scalp and do not scrape the flakes out. Layers upon layers of flakes will develop if you itch/scratch your scalp so just let the flakes fall out on their own while doing the oil treatments :) 4.) ALSO - I forgot to say: Do NOT let normal shampoos and conditioners touch your scalp! The only thing that should touch your scalp for the rest of your life is the Dr Bronners, ACV, and the hemp oil. At the end of the video I recommended a normal shampoo in case you have trouble washing out the Dr Bronners soap but I rarely use it - I only use it if Dr. Bronners is stuck in my hair. Usually, the Dr. Bronners is enough to give me beautiful voluminous hair (I always wash twice with it to get a more clean feel). 5.) If you can't wash out the Dr. Bronners, it might be because your hair is too dry - so during the oil treatment, apply the hemp oil to your *hair* too! This moisturises the hair and makes it much easier for the Dr Bronners to be washed out :) (Sometimes it takes 2 showers to wash out all of the oil) Also, use more ACV to get softer hair. 6.) Also, I will be buying a spray bottle soon so that I can spray my scalp with water instead of getting my hair super soaking wet before doing an oil treatment because the hemp oil washes out of the hair MUCH easier when the hair is mostly dry. :)
Hi! Not sure if you’re going to see this but wanted to ask- is it a case of things look like they’re getting worse before they get better ? I’ve done 5 treatments now and my scalp is now the worst it’s ever been. Not sure if it’s the dr bronner or ACV rinse but my whole head is peeling off !!
My scalp psoriasis died down after taking vitamin D everyday. If it ever flares up again I’ll try this, so thank you. Also thanks for the tip on over oiling, I think I’ve been doing that lately. Good luck to everyone else.
@@G-grandma_Army My psoriasis began when was almost 30 after moving to Alaska from Arizona. It got to 60% of my body, scalp and nails. I was going to my dermatologist three times a week doing light therapy. It cleared it up to making 30%….come to find out I was severely D deficient and was put on one 50,000 IU pill once a week. It took 18 months of that high of a dose but it cleared my psoriasis up! I now take 5,000 IU per day as maintenance. Vitamin D tests are relatively inexpensive if you don’t have insurance. I recommend you get tested then you’ll know what supplementation amount you may need.
@@alaskanvixen9486 thank you. I get my blood tested about every 6 months and the doctor did not mention Vitamin D, but I’m going to call them to ask them to look at my numbers. If your answer doesn’t help me, it might help someone else so thanks for sharing. About 10 years ago I was on the high dose you used to take, so it’s worth a look. BTW, I was 65 when I first got psoriasis. My daughter has had it since her teens. It was in “remission” for probably 20 years and has recently flared up. I wonder if the stresses of our current world (since c0¥id) could has something to do with it.
I watched your old video and used your method back when I had severe scalp psoriasis in high school that just wouldn't budge. It took no time at all to work and I have had a clear, perfectly healthy scalp ever since. I haven't had to do a treatment in years and now I don't even have to think about what I put on my scalp (I do prefer natural products usually though) Thank you so much! I wish your old channel still existed.. loved your videos
Hi Liv, thank you so much for your update! That makes me SO happy to know! :') I'm so happy it worked for you as well as it works for me. I also wish my old channel still existed haha (darn anxiety and not being able to handle the internet lol).
@@naturally_nikki820 There is almost zero change from the old treatment plan to the new one. The only change was doing the trick to wash the oil out of dry hair to speed up the washing out process. And diluting the apple cider vinegar (to avoid burning the scalp) and diluting the Dr. Bronners with some water (it seems to be less drying on the scalp when it's not full strength).
@@HiFromHamburgI have seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp according to my GP, I know your not a professional but do you think your solutions will also benefit me? I read that scalp psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis are very similar (as in both have flakes dandruff itchy scalp and inflammation) but they are different conditions. Please let me know this condition has taken a toll on my mental wellbeing
@@angelmaldonado5657 Give it a go. I found that it didn't cure my skin per se in the few weeks I tried it but it definitely faded the redness a bit to be unnoticeable by others.
Hi Lamblike! I am 54 and have had seborrheic dermatitis/folliculitis for over thirty years and recently found some relief from this frustrating condition. I visited a new dermatologist three weeks ago concerning another issue I had, she checked my scalp, told me my scalp was clear, and there was no signs of seborrheic dermatitis. I intend on sharing what I've learned in a youtube video soon and write an ebook about what I learned. You have some great tips here! Thank you! I will share the link to your video here and your wonderful ebook in my youtube video and ebook soon. Thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you so much! Really good routine! I personally needed more weeks of each oil treatmemt cycle to get results but my psoriasis was really inflamed when I started. Now I'm in remission and it's such a relief! :D So if anyone struggles with results: Maybe do each oil treatment cycle for one or two weeks longer than suggested in the video. And if anyone can't use hempseed oil for whatever reason: Try coldpressed walnut oil. It seems to have similar properties. Works equally good for me! :)
Hi. Did you see an improvement at first ? I’m not seeing anything improve , in fact it’s gotten worse since starting. I would keep going if I thought it was normal for it to take this long . Don’t want to waste another week though if it’s normal to see improvements sooner
I just watched your video. I am 54 and have been dealing with this for 4 years. Pretty much behind and over the ears. I went to a dermatologist. They gave me shampoos that worked but it didn't work for my wallet (even with insurance). Thank you. I'm going to try this.
Do this 1. Do keto diet. 2. Daily 20 minutes kapalbhati yoga early morning empty stomach after 10 minutes of running. 3. Apply coconut oil with rosemary oil at night and complete your meal 4 four before going to the beds. 4. Be happy 🎉🎉🎉 5. Avoid Sexual things to save healing energy. With in 20 days, You see the result
It worked. I had Psoriasis for like 10 years at the back of my head. No one can see it but it was very dry and itchy. I picked on it when no one is around. Lol. I washed my head with ACV for like 2 months and it’s all gone. Omg. I’m so relieved.
Did u get dry skin on ur balls? I just saw that i have a small amount of dry skin on my balls and i have been putting cortizone 10 to keep them cool put im scared. I dont want to spread and thing can help.
@@JuanGonzales-ni1vj You know I had tried all over-the-counter ointment for 10 years and nothing works. Of course all the pharmaceuticals don’t want you to heal. They want us to keep buying the products. Try apple cider vinegar. Just apply it and wash it after 15 mins. Then go take shower.
Hi! Thank you for much for this tutorial! I've just started and am hoping my scalp responds well to it. Unfortunately the diluted apple cider vinegar rinse triggered eczema all along my hairline and neck, so I had to stop it. Instead, to wash out the hemp oil, I now use 100% Pure's Burdock and Neem shampoo (with only natural ingredients) + any of their natural conditioners. This shampoo can wash out the hemp oil with just 2 shampoos (just make sure the 1st shampoo is done on dry hair, just like the video says). Hope this helps anyone else who is sensitive to the apple cider vinegar!
I am so glad I stumbled upon this video looking for your old one! I treated my daughters scalp years ago and it was life changing for her. We had gone quite a while without needing to treat her but unfortunately she started flaring up again. I am so happy to say that after just 2 treatments her scalp looks so much better! Thanks for the tip regarding the scented soaps. I was tempted to try the lavender but will stick with what works. Thank you so much for sharing! I hope this finds more people who are struggling with this frustrating condition ♥️
It is one thing to sort out the outward signs of psoriasis (and can be a relief) but sorting out internal inflaiton linked with diet can sort out the root. I'm on carnivore, total elimination diet, and scalp and nail psoriasis improving massively and best they have been in a decade. Not disrespecing your advice but diet changes can make a permanent difference (could be sugrars, wheet, alcohol all sorts of stuff triggering the psoriasis) Fix internally to fix externally
Agreed. On that journey now. How bad was the psoriasis for you prior to healing? Any residual ‘scarring’? How long did it take to heal? I’m thinking several months as mine is pretty moderate to severe, on many areas of my body.
@@lisafenyes3052 took just a couple of weeks to see big changes and about 6 to 8 weeks to be nearly clear. Yes some residual scars left. I have been travelling on an extended holiday and relaxed the rules. took only 2 weeks for it to come back! looking forward to getting home and back to straight and narrow
Just found your video and have been suffering from Scalp Psoriasis for years and tried everything, and nothing worked :( I just ordered all the products you recommended, only the hemp oil is different (Brand not available in France), but chose the same quality. Can't wait to try this method :)
I just ordered all the stuff and I can’t wait to try it!! I also have other autoimmune conditions but the medicines haven’t clear my scalp psoriasis! I HATE the smell of apple cider vinegar but it will be worth it if it works for me!!
Thank you!!! 30 years of suffering and being prescribed all types of steroids, oils, creams but nothing has worked like this. So far Ive used the Apple Cider Vinegar and its amazing. Itchiness completely gone and my scalp feels moisturized. I'm waiting on the oil to come to do that part of the treatment plan. Thank you so much!!!
I have really bad scalp psoriasis. I have tried everything. I have gone to the dermatologist, the doctor, tried several different medications, medicated shampoos, etc and nothing really worked at all. I think eating a lot of strawberries and other berries somewhat helped but that was about it. I would also make strawberry smoothies in the blender with just strawberries.
Hellooo so pleased to have come across your video! My scalp psoriasis is quite severe at this point so im looking forward to trying the routine. I just wanted to ask, did you shave your hair when you first did the treatment then? If so, was it just for ease of treatment?
The original video helped my scalp a bit more than other things, but the main thing that's helped me is not going to bed with wet hair! I dry my hair after I wash it, and my scalp is so much better now. If you are going to bed with wet hair I recommend drying it straight away and seeing if it helps
Super Tutorial! Ich mache seit vielen Jahren immer wieder mal Apfelessigkuren gegen die Pso. Hilft super! Hanföl hab ich bisher noch nicht benutzt, aber der nächste Schub kommt bestimmt im Winter.
Isn’t it just applying the ACV that caused remission ? Why bother with the hemp oil and specific soap then ? Isn’t it that the psoriatic plaques are due to yeast overgrowth, and that the vinegar is what actually ended up killing the yeast ?
So glad you're back, thank you so much for this new video!! Will definetely try this dry-hair shampooing because after trying the treatment for the first time yesterday, I was completely unable to remove the oil from my hair even though I washed them like 6 times. I don't have a great shower head (no pressure and not removable), I'll see what I can do. I wanted to ask you however what kind of improvement should I be seeing on my scalp. Here is my situation : Usually, the psoriasis spots on my scalp are quite « dry ». I have to scratch them with my nails to have them fall off (which is not good I know, I don't do it anymore). After the treatment, the plaques are still there and as big, but definetely nos as yellow and gross-looking. Also, now, a simple touch of the finger on them will have them fall off. Is it a good sign, does it mean the spots are healing? Also, should I be (very very gently) removing those plaques or should I avoid touching them at all costs? Thank you! :)
Hi, it took me a few months of constant oil treatments to get a clear scalp. Everyone’s scalp is different though but for me I felt and noticed immediate differences probably in the first few weeks (it’s been a long time now so hard to remember) it felt instant to me though
Damn, this is chaotic. For everyone who can't follow her, a basic and quick explanation: Ingredients: - Hemp Oil; for use on skin, not for cooking -Castile Soap; an organic soap made from oil, without additives; Im Deutschen gibt es keine wirkliche Übersetzung, allerdings bekommt man auf z.B. Amazon auch Ergebnisse wenn man direkt nach Castile Soap sucht. Ansonsten vll. organische Ölseife ohne Zusätze? -Apple Cider Vinegar; with the mother (that means it still has the vinegar bacteria in there) -Shower Cap How-to-use: Lightly dampen your scalp. Warm the hemp oil, not in the microwave. Use a pan for a few seconds on the stove or use a water bath. It seems quite warm is enough. Put the warm hemp oil on your scalp; if your hair isn't very short you have to part your hair section by section and apply it directly to the scalp. You can oil your hair, too. Put on the shower cap and go to sleep. The shower cap is for keeping the oil on you scalp and from your pillow. In the morning (or after several hours) you'll clean your hair directly with diluted (50/50) castile soap (if you wet the hair beforehand it'll take many more rinses) and rinsing afterwards, don't worry if it takes two rinses. After put diluted apple cider vinegar on your scalp (again, if your hair is long you'll have to part it and apply in sections). She doesn't say whether one can rinse out the vinegar and after how long. She later gives tips for when one HAS to use shampoo after the treatment. So I'd guess rinsing after letting it sit on the scalp for a bit is the way. For the first week do this every other day (it is important to give your scalp time to breathe), afterwards do it 2 times a week. After one or two months your scalp should be much better. TL;DR: Treat your scalp with warm hemp oil, leave it there for hours. You can go to sleep with it on there by using a shower cap. Rinse by applying diluted castile soap and rinsing that with water, it may take several rinses. Treat your scalp with diluted apple cider vinegar and (supposedly) rinse that out after a short time. Don't do this every day, give your scalp time to breathe, after one or two months your scalp should be fine.
Wow YT recommended your video on you being hit by a car in Germany, then I watched your 20 words video and I was like she’s cute with a good vibe about her. I used to live in DE and so I kinda like those videos. Anyways so then I clicked on this video. I’m a guy who has had this problem and have tried to use a lot of the off the shelf products that did little to help. I will try this for sure and buy your eBook. Thx!
I remember that first video you made really saved me I still use this treatment till this day(less frequenntly tho lol). I never knew you made a new one. Thank you sm💜
I saw this today but no follow up. Are you still doing great using these recommendations. I ordered the Hemp and dr Bronners. I only have that in the crown so don’t need to put all over my scalp. I also use all natural shampoo with no bad chemicals in it so I would not use the shampoo you recommended.,I believe all natural is better with scalp problems. I hope to get feedback on this.
Yes I am. But I’ve become lazy though this year and started using a steroid spray since I get it free from the dermatologist now which I didn’t use to. But if I lost my free health insurance or if the steroid spray stops working I’d go back to doing this all natural route
I wonder if it would be more efficient to put the warmed hemp oil in a bottle with a thin tip nozzle (i.e., hair dye bottles). Or how about using a hair dye brush to *gently* brush the oil onto the scalp? It just seems either way would be more efficient and direct. What do you think?
What shampoo do you use once your psoriasis is in remission? Do you continue with Dr. Bronners? I would think that would be drying to continue with that. You mention Nexxus conditioner but do you use the shampoo too? It is unclear in video.
yes I continue to use the Dr bronners as my shampoo and I also both the Nexxus shampoo and conditioner. the Dr bronners became drying overtime because I bleached my hair but I remember before bleaching my hair it didn’t bother my hair so much
I have scalp psoriasis. i had dandruff but not as bad, i got the shampoo and the expensive oil the dermatologist prescribed to me, it makes me feel unnormal because my hair grows and every since this problem 😭 happened, i can't get my hair to grow.
There is a cure - diet! I had chronic scalp psoriasis for 6 years, and it ended up scattered throughout my body. 'Radically' changed my diet, along with supplements, plenty of water and gone in 4 months! Started noticing a difference after only 1 week, but took a few months to completely heal. I thought I used to eat healthy, but I had it all wrong. No more food sensitivities. Can eat anything now, and no allergic reactions, or skin flare ups. I stick to a clean diet now however the vast majority of the time, as I know if I go back to old habits, I will get old results! Common sense. Food will either make you well or unwell. When you eat harmful foods on a daily basis it creates disease. It's amazing how changing my diet has changed my life. Also I had dandruff for a decade before scalp psoriasis appeared. All gone. Clear skin from head to toe. Freedom baby!
Yes! Mine is always kept in the fridge :) I put it in there even before I open it just to be safe because I noticed it can smell bad quicker than other oils
Cultural difference between North America and Germany: I have Psoriasis (body and scalp) and my German health insurance paid for a 12000 $ / year antibody treatment which completely healed my Psoriasis! Now I moved to Canada and have to watch this video...
@@Megs901 Yes, I can assure you that the German Health Insurance pays such pricey treatments, however you should undergo several other, less expensive treatments and if they don't work out, only then they will pay for the expensive one. At least this is my experience.
Thanks for the helpful vid! Could u explain a bit more about how to apply the apple cider to the scalp. Do I need to fully soak my scalp in it? And how long do I keep it on my scalp for? Do u recomend using the cider vinegar on the days ur not treating the scalp with the hemp oil? Thanks!!!
use apple cider vinegar exactly like it was a conditioner :) I spray it all over the hair and scalp then leave it in for 10 seconds then wash out. up to you. yes it prevents itch from coming back so I use it 1 x weekly
Didn’t work for me made my scalp so dry and scalp irritation some parts of my scalp turned red even thiught I massaged my scalp lightly not aggressively I can’t say I scrstched the scales out so I don’t understand btw I didn’t use acv
Hey, how can I say what are my triggers by just looking at my scalp!!!!!? That sounds pretty amazing! If I find my triggers I can find my cure too. Thanks in advance ☺️
LambLike, you have been my savior, ever since I found your video years ago. The Body Shop Ginger shampoo I've relied on has changed its formula and now irritates my scalp, so I'd like to try one you recommend. Is the one you recommend in your e-book the same as the Ketoconazole 2% shampoo you mention in your Updates here with this video?
I have suffered chronic scalp psoriasis i started using Nizoral treatment shampoo , Ketoconazole and its had an exceptional effect in improving it to almost nothing over a 2 week period , the most amazing positive experience i had in over 5 years of it getting constantly worse and depressing me. Though , i had a flare up recently after going lax on my use , so i had to re engage my use programme a. My dairy intake has a negative impact on my psoriasis, cheese is a terrible thing for me and i like cheese , and now and again i forget because things were going so well so diet control is a major factor as well as improving the intake of certain minerals & vitamins those that make make a difference for me are magnesium, zinc, and vitamin d. I should add in taking on board what's recommended here to assist the conditioning of the scalps moisture retention with hemp oil maybe be tried with it, i use organic virgin coconut oil in a similar manner to help in conditioning my scalp. but i will after watching this trial the hemp oil.
Hi, nope it’s the Dr Bronners baby mild pure Castile soap. It’s not a shampoo so it’s trickier to wash out of the hair. the ketoconazole shampoo is good on occasion but dried my scalp out so not to use too often
Good tips! I wonder if this helps with seborrheic dermatitis too? I've been trying to do acv washes as much as possible but so far no luck. So itchy and scaly.
I just got my first sign of psoriasis and got some medicine from my doctor I am kinda scared and my heads been itching like crazy I am going to figure it out I appreciate the video
Doubt you will see this comment since this video is a year old, but your caption mentioned you shaved your head. I don’t recall you even mentioning that in the video. I have very thick hair so i searched for shaving hair to cure psoriasis, thinking that might make it easier to treat. Mine is just in the back of my head so I was thinking about just shaving the part. Can you tell me if you shaved your head when you started this treatment and if so, do you think it helped to get the products onto your scalp? Thanks
I just rewatched and noticed you said you compare Germany to America. I follow a girl who does the same. She just had to rebrand her sight, but used to be called German Girl in America, now it’s Feli in America, I think. You should check her out if you haven’t. Maybe y’all could collaborate on some RU-vids. I know she had done that with someone who is from America living in Germany before.
hi, yes, shaving my hair made doing the treatment a lot easier. But looking back, if I had more patience it would’ve had the same result just would’ve taken more time in the bathroom to apply and wash out
Thank you for your video and information! May I ask if you also experience psoriatic arthritis too? I hope not but wondered if you have any dietary tips or other things that have helped you?
Hi, my 18 years old daughter suffering the same disease from last 5 years and she also has allergic from coconut oil, mustard oil and we have tried many oils as described anyone in Internet. I need your help please.
Hemp seed oil really worked for me. But during pregnancy I wanted to be on the safe side, so I researched a bit and found that coldpressed walnut oil has a similar composition and tried that. So far it works equally good and I'm in remission. Hope I could help. :)
I'm super excited because this may be the final missing piece in my 10 year horrible scalp and face mystery. I have suffered from a condition that has been diagnosed as seb derm, but only has the oily scalp and flakes in common. It also affects my face, neck, and back, and almost mimicks rosacea too. All of this started after I caught cold sores on my lips. I have tried so many shampoos and treatments and nothing seemed to work well. My hair recently got super damaged and dried out from a new seb derm shampoo I tried, so I decided to put drugstore hair oil in and just leave it in. I did not get a chance to wash it out. But strangely, the more oil I added, the more my symptoms on my scalp and face started to improve. It made no sense to me at all. But I had a few hairdressers over the years say they think my condition reminds them more of a psoriasis condition than traditional seb derm. This might be the missing puzzle piece. I am going to try this treatment and start slow and see if I improve. I am allergic/intolerant to many types of oils, so I will have to do trial and error, but if I see results I will come back and let you know! I can't believe that I may have been misdiagnosed or only partially diagnosed for 10 years. Thank you for sharing this with all of us! ❤
Any oil that is high in Omega 3 fatty acids. Hemp oil has the highest amount which is why it’s so good at reducing inflammation of the skin. So I would research the top oils that are reduce inflammation/ have high omega3.
I watched your video about scalp psoriasis with hemp oil .please explain politely and slowly you speak so fast I can't get it.I am facing scalp psoriasis for the last 8years and tried a number of medicines and gel/oil but no result.tell me if I use hempoil first and wash out in the morning may use apple venigar afterwards mixing water.
Is this treatment only for scalp psoriasis or can it treat dandruff in combination with quite a few small scar-like wounds that won't heal? The reason I'm asking is because I don't want to risk doing more damage by using something stronger than necessary.
Hi, Thank you very much for a great video. Only thing I wasn't sure about is, when I finally rinse with the Apple Cider, should I then do a final rinse with water or leave the ACV rinse in the hair. Thanks again.
hey guys. thank you for letting me know! I just got the problem fixed! sorry about that. it says it will be able to be downloaded within the next 72 hours :)
So, I’m confused. Don’t wet hair, then add soap to dry hair but then she says to use the attachment and wash twice, meaning with water. Can someone please clarify for me? Thanks!
Yes and no. I avoid them if I can but sometimes I want to make the ends of my hair more healthy since dr bronners can be drying, so it’s fine to use normal S and C as long as it doesn’t touch the scalp
I have seborrheic dermatits and sometimes I will do a no shampoo regiment. I will rinse my hair really good and then comb it and while it still gets itchy, it's not as irritated and seems to moisture my scalp better than before.
