You probably dont care but if you're bored like me atm then you can watch all the latest movies and series on instaflixxer. Been watching with my gf for the last months :)
Dude I love this video. I've been more of the flat brim/slight curve hat wearer for years but I started curving the hat and rocking it and it's a good look. Thanks for the video. I'm gonna use this technique.💪
I went to high school in the 90’s and I always curved my hat or took the sticker off. Even when it was cool to have a flat brim and leave the stickers on the brim. Just wasn’t for me. Glad to see more people curving their brims now
The stickers are a nostalgia thing for me. I'd see rappers and other grown ups wearing the all black fitteds with the stickers on and it was always so cool to me. So now that I'm older and can afford multiple of these hats I never wanted to take the stickers off.
Completely understand and respect that... I have nothing against flat brims and stickers it's just a generational thing. Jay-Z is the reason I bought Yankees fitteds growing up
The issue with the top new era hat is that it eventually gets worn out and looses it shine and start loosing the print on it. So then you go to take the sticker off then you see a darker circle spot where the sticker was compared to the slightly faded hat.
@@user-ne7nn2df2m Are you saying the hats cost 3000 where you are? If I read that correctly then that's insane. They usually run for $40 USD in the U.S.
GUYS, but a garment steamer and use that instead. It will take you literally 20 seconds, and it will curve as much or as little as you need. It’s the best thing for curving the bream.
I like my hats like literally the exact same way you just explained!! I love a good curve! Nothing super crazy also I do that same thing I pinch it together like that with my thumb and pointer finger on the sides to give it a nice curve
If you guys dont have a steamer, grab a spray bottle and make sure it's on the mode where its a mist and spray around your hat, just make sure it doesnt get to wet. Works the same as a steamer.
I’ve heard steaming them makes it slightly easier so you get a more even bend. I hate flat billed and now I found the proper way to curve them I’m gonna start getting them.
That gripping and bending thing occurs naturally in late innings of baseball or overtime in hockey playoff games.....nervous activity on my hat while I'm living and dying watching my teams! Leafs ,Kings in the 90's....I curved my hat....when it wasn't even a thing! ( Suddenly missing Felix"the Cat" Potvin......really cool mask)
I remember in little league, I used to stick the brim into a drinking glass with straight sides and leave it whenever I wasn't playing lol. The good ole days.
Best fitted curve strategy I've veverf came across & ive been a conessiuer for years keeping my KICKS, and my FITTEDS in prestine condition. Thank you for the rubber band strategy, dude.
I remember when flat brim was popular I curved them anyway. I don't need some "trend" or "wave" telling me what looks good. Rock what you like and you can never go wrong.
The curve is subpar and the brim is wrinkled. Fitted brims are cardboard so they need heat in order to take shape. I would suggest steaming the brim of your fitted first, then shaping the brim to your desired curve. I personally use a 1 litre water bootle w/ an elastic band to give it a precise curve. After you steamed & curved the cap place it in the freezer to lock the cardboard in the desire shape. No hate just giving perspective.
@@illdrumatik391 Dad hats ain’t the same my dude because they're not fitted. And they're meant to be curved hence why MLB baseball players always curve their brim’s.
@@bossmon16 They aren’t meant to be curved or new era wouldn’t have released there 3930s 🤦🏻♂️ bending the brim is a tradition it’s not how it’s meant to be. Hence the horrible creases and many times broken brim.
when I was a kid in little league we would wet the hat under a garden hose ,put a couple of rubber bands on the brim and wear it at practice. After the sun dried it they had the perfect curve and fit just right.
If you guys don't have a steamer, grab a spray bottle and make sure it's on the mode where its a mist and spray around your hat, just make sure it doesn't get to wet. Works the same as a steamer.
All you have to do is get the brim hot over steam for 30 seconds, the hold the brim exactly how you want it for a minute until it cools and you're done....non of the info in this video is necessary..... you're welcome! Steam also works wonders for stretching and shaping your caps as well.
thank you so much i prefer to have a curved bill for baseball and our team ordered flat but i thank you for this man you really enhanced the hat experiance with baseball
Got my first fitted a few days ago, i’ve worn it a few times already before finding this video. Do you think the rubber bands will still work properly even though I’ve worn the hat ?
Please is important answer my ASAP I’m buying a hat .if I do that i Lose the size of the hat for example I bought a hat that fit perfect on me But I’m guessing if I do that the hat is gonna fit small on me please answer !!
I like my hands to have a slight bend in the brim, but not full on dad hat if you know what I mean. 1 rubber band is prefect for me. Just a slight bend.
the reason why the hat feels (and looks loose) on you is because the hat is too big on you. the hat is swallowing your entire head. i would suggest to go a size smaller for you.
Straight up. Kinda makes me want to punch a wall. Dude is going to have a tutorial on how to bend your brim back and reapply stickers in a few years and that tells you everything you need to know about him and the like. Also only rep my home city unlike these in the closest pretty boys
I don't have these thick rubber bands but I do have thick rubber bands for hair and thin ones, which ones would do better? Also, I saw people putting bottles or something with a circular shape between the rubber band and the hat, should I do that?
Being an ex baseball player, I always had an ace bandage around so I would wrap my bill with that once I got it shaped. Honestly never even thought about rubber bands lol
I know im gonna sound like a complete hater that has nothing better to do and some1 will say "u said it bro, like u said u have nothing to better to do but be on here hating, so keep it pushing" its easy to predict the outcome of people's thoughts on certain things. So why do you need a video to tell people how to curve your brim, u do it with ur two hands pressing down each side of the bill inward towards your eyes. boom video is done dood. really?
If apply the rubber bands and spray a little water on the brim will it help? Currently the brim eventualy loses its curve after I remove the rubber bands. Maybe I'm not leaving the bands on long enough. How long should the rubber bands stay on?
Very knowledgeable about hats so great video. Styll Do it Is awesome and I wish their shipping to US wasnt so expensive but they have way better hats than most things in the states.
WE BROKE GODS LAW. 2000 YEARS AGO, GOD PROVIDED A SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST WHO SUFFERED AND TOOK OUR PUNISHMENT ON THE CROSS. THE BIBLE SAYS IF WE DECLARE WITH OUT MOUTH JESUS IS LORD AND BELIEVE IN OUR HEART GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD YOU SHALL BE SAVED. Romans 10-9. GOD WILL FORGIVE YOUR SINS AND GRANT YOU EVERLASTING LIFE ALL BECAUSE OF WHAT JESUS DID ON THE CROSS
He fucked up when he said take the stickers off 🤦🏽♂️😂😂😂 The video fire but yo the stickers are nostalgic and essential shit my fitted look naked wit out em u buggin 😂
What fitted hats can curves brim im looking for a eagles that can do that I want to get in to fitted hats again I done it at a young age when I was like 9 or 11
I normally wear a low profile 7 1/8. What size should it get for the regular 59fifty? I would like to curve it like the one in this video so not sure how that will effect the size. Should I get the same size as the low profile since it comes precurved? I’m also in Toronto and the Lids stores nearby do not have the ‘96 Yankees World Series cap I want so I will need to purchase online.
I almost never wear baseball cap This was great tutorial I do not look good in that flat brim Can’t wait to try rubber bands on my Giants baseball hat 😊
Am I the only one who thinks that Yankees hat looks messed up? One Sid’s looks more bent than the other and the excess fabric in the middle of the brim doesn’t look great.
