Step by step bald fade tutorial. The clippers I used were the Andis Slim Line Pro’s (goo.gl/xgzcWn),
the Wahl Magic Clips (goo.gl/xxqjnd),
Andis T-Outliners (goo.gl/4CRWhk)

I’m not a barber but I enjoy learning the trade. Very good detailed video! I was having trouble once I got to the half guard but this explains it well!! Only been cutting a few months I just retired my Wal-Mart clippers and trimmers. Now I’m working with the cordless magic clip and slim line pro. Your video is a big help thanks!!!

So good at explaining. I cut my boyfriends hair, and slowly slowly I am getting better (he is happy enough to leave the house with my cuts hahah), your explanation of the lingo and how to fade is sooo good, you don't rush through it. Keep up the good work!!!

I did a horrible job today! I did my best with my walls but it didn’t do nothing at all! Uuuggghhh barbering isn’t easy on black hair! I hated that my wahls didn’t knock that line out! I know with the right clippers I will be Great! 🙃🙂😢🤓🧐🥺😩☺️

Nice fade, instead of going with the number 1 first can I go with the 1/16 guard first then the. #1? Anyone?

saveion ruiz-smith you can, but from my experience I always slowly work the guideline out. It’s marathon. Sometimes going straight to the 1/16 can cause it to look choppy and also the 1/16 can sometimes make a new line that’s tough to remove. Depending on the hair texture.

Joshua Cruz yes i did. At 5:06 I used the .5 guard. At 9:10 I used the 1.5.

Lindel Brown depends on the client. U can wash it right out if u want. Some clients get 3-5 days

Can you make the first guideline with clippers lever closed or half way instead of the Slimline? If so, can you still get rid of the line with the lever closed?

Great cut. Do you always go from 1-open to half-open immediately or do you ever use your number one guard to blend first before going with the half guard?

A lot of times I go straight to the 1 guard closed and blend out, but for the sake of the vid and showing a safer way to fade, I did it the other way on here.

I don’t use Wahls - it has the 1/2 guard which andis doesn’t .. so what will be the steps using my masters with andis guards

Porsche Roberson 1/2 guard for andis is the 0 guard

Andis does have the 1/2 half guard, also known as the 1/16th #0 guard.

Taurus The Barber why is that? The liners can be more precise on making that first line then some clippers!!!!

@@millionairemindset7484 you're validating my point. Putting in a hard precise line makes it harder to remove. The balding line is NOT something you want to see. I barely put my lines in and my fades are flawless..never put in definite lines if you want a smooth fade..try it...33 years experience

I used to do that, too, because I've seen barbers do it. Then I got smart by experimenting and I figured I could just create the initial guideline with the clipper in the closed lever position.

Xx_SicariO_69_xX thanks bro. They can last a few days up to a week depending on the client. I use holding spray or spritz to lock them in after I apply them
