This tutorial is the best. I cut my boyfriend's hair in this lockdown. It was my first time giving someone a haircut and it turned out pretty much fine. He was super impressed. Love this video. ❤❤❤
You are the best! This is how a hair cut should be done, respecting the natural hair growing of the customer. I hate when the ones who call themselves professionals start using the hair trimmer and think they are cutting grass i/o human hair and simply go into the forehead, the sides. 100/100!!!

Such an excellent video. I've cut my husband's hair twice to this video, from long to short. First time it was halfway down his back and we were both nervous - it took me 4 hours! This time it took me less than an hour! (It might not be the exact same length of each side, but, it doesn't show to the untrained eye. 😉Thank you. Thats exactly how one should hold a scissor. You can practice and learn by watching demonstrate proper scissors handling.😊btw I'm a hairdresser too but i love watching videos like this. I pick new tricks doing hair.

Why does he lift up each section of hair with his scissors right before cutting it? Is that so it's easier to get the scissors under the hair to cut it (instead of cutting his hand?)

How do you know when to choose between blunt cutting and point cutting? My hairdresser always point cuts all over and it seems to give way too much texture to my hair.
I saw another RU-vid video of an old barber demonstrating that same scissors method. Using the bottom blade as you guide and let the top blade do the cutting. This guy has obviously been doing it for a long time and probably has his scissors professionally sharpened.
