How to cut a palazzo pant with side zipper/ Best fit palazzo/Nelostitches 

I never knew I would get the making of this trouser right. I was only half way into watching the video when my phone went off. I continued thou. By the time I was done my trouser came out perfect. Good morning.. I have a question. You started with the measurements of the thigh divided by two which was 13”, how come you were able to measure the lap circumference again and added 1.5”?? On the crutch line?

The way you mark the hip to your knees can there do it with elastic bands

please do you use normal trouser measurement for palazzo pants too
