Well done - don't worry about comments that say its a waste of time - its not. You have helped share your knowledge on making a valuable tool. I too have been searching for exactly this and I love your design. The only thing I would probably change in the design is to make the blade interchangeable. I'll think of something. Thanks once again Greetings from Australia
So simple & brilliant. Genious! Self sufficiency is a life style & is going to be more useful than we think, very soon! Also, when we learn how to make things for ourselves we train our brain too. It's not at all about money at the first place. But being independent! Thank you for sharing!
Not sure I'd class "go out and buy a bunch of crafting supplies to make a circle cutter" as self-sufficiency. You can just take satisfaction in making something without adding a weird doomsday prepper angle to it.
I am in need of a styrene compass cutter, but the online versions don’t support the blades I own. Also buying one for just a few cuts seems silly. However, this one, if good, needs a way to replace dulled blades. I wonder if half of the blade pieces could be separate and screw together like the pivot point?
I'm sure this would have been a really nice project had there been any audio besides this worthless noise some call music but I lost interest real quick and the awful background you really can't see what's going on. Other than that I would have given it a thumbs up
