Do you reside in Abuja? I have a fashion school where you can learn and perfect your skill in just 6 months. We also have accommodation for those outside Abuja
Thank u Seyi your tutorials are extremely explicit. But if I want to have more than 1 inch for my slit ,how do I achieve that?I love to have it overlap properly.Tnk u
Ma I did this with ankara fabric with ur tutorial and it came out good..now I want to try it again with lace fabric os ot possible with lace fabric with front slit?
It's the same, use 0.2 to turn the lining. For instance if 1 inch is the zip allowance, by the time you use 0.25 to turn the lining, you have 0.75 left for zip allowance.
Please ma cutting off the zip allowance and adding it back from the inside wouldn’t it affect the measurement while sewing, like the front skirt seam allowance bigger than the back skirt
If you making use of lining, since you will be turning it with half inch, you can use add half inche to your measurements i.e instead of 1 inche for your waist, do 1.5, apply the same thing to your hip or you still still maintain your initial 1 inche, use half inch to turn your lining and sew your waist to full length with half inch
Hello Ma'am, please do video of how to take body measurements. Especially for pants and jumpsuits and the likes. The lap measurements confuses me. Pleeeeaasseee
Your teaching have be so helpful thank you so much, please how do I get hip line for different sizes and is the butt measurements the same for everyone that is coming down by 5 inches
Most times I do inner sewing but if I'm doing Normal sewing, then I cut the Same pattern for the lining and I turn it with 0.25 inch. Especially the zip area. You know the zip allowance is 1 inch, you will have 0.75 left after turning it with 0.25 right? Then sew your zip with the remaining 0.75. I hope you understand
Thanks ma, pls aw many inches for the waist band and I thought u will minus the band inches before measuring ur hip length and other measurements. I tried this pattern of urs and my hip length was a little bit up.
Sew your upper part separately and join it to the down part, using lining to turn them shouldn't be a problem or I might be dropping video soon about a full dress.
Well done and thanks for the tutorial. Please * What if its pencil skirt and not straight skirt....what will you apply on the hem line of the skirt * is 4.5 underbutt fie everyone? Thank you
