I think gum stay is better ..i tried collar stay, it wasnt easy to sew.

Okay, when next you have no option order than collar stay. Use it only on the lining part and make sure it does not get to your stitch lines.

So many calculations and confusion I think you should make it a bit simpler and easier for bigginers. This is hard abeg

Pattern drafting comes with calculations and it may look confusing to you if you are a non pattern drafter or a beginner. All you have to do is take your time if you are a beginner and this tutorial is not really for beginners.
