hi, i found that it's a bit tricky to sew on stretchy fabric. my thread skipped few lines sometimes. do you have tips for this? Thanks.

Yeah sure! I would say get a walking foot for your sewing machine and use the right needle for jersey a ball point needle is excellent. I hope that helps

Hello, I recommend stretchy fabric only for this pattern.

I have made a similar shape using cotton voile. The thing you need to make certain you do is to ensure the face opening is large enough for your face - trial and error - because the fabric won't stretch as jersey does. I also find using a couple of hair pins helps (if it's cooler I just use a jersey cap underneath and pin to that) because depending on the fabric and the shape of your head it will sometimes want to fall forwards. My next make will hopefully be in a lightweight linen.
