I used 3 yards. But it depends on the length of fabric to fold. Calculate that and you would know how many yards you need

Due to the pleats. When you divide by 3 you have excess to pleat at the side

If you say waist 30/3=10 + 12 pleats, then that’s 22. But you calculated waist 30+ 12 before dividing by 3. There’s a mathematical problem here, please which is it?

Beautiful tutorial. Please how do i cut and fold for an Ankara fabric. I realised after drafting and taking the length there is shortage how do i join the fabric to get the length i want
