*Would have been wonderful to see her actually cut them! Great explanation, but visuals are always best! Also, should have added in, if you want your bangs a lot longer on the outside, you need to angle cut around the face!*

I also find cuticle scissors work so great and give you the best control so you don't trim off too much by accident.

You should never cut horizontally though. It's not natural looking and you'll never get a perfect line! Especially if they're thick to cut through!! Always vertical!!!

MagoLerio No. It's better to cut bangs dry. Wet hair appears longer than dry hair, stretches easier and lays differently than dry hair. When you cut bangs wet, you have to account for those things and are more likely to end up with bangs shorter than desired that don't lay properly.
