How to cut copper tube with a pipe cutter tool 

new plumber here and this is my first time with copper so thank you for this video!

Great video for anyone needing to cut copper. I use a hacksaw when I'm scraping the copper because it is faster and I don't have to worry about it working anywhere.

I did it before number of times with pipe cutter but I got a new one, my first time I used a hacksaw and I found out not good to do then showed me on why.

good video for us first timers. I tried to remove a service valve for my toilet thinking and not looking close enough at the fitting. I found that after using two slip joint pliers the pipe twisted. I stopped immediately and reattached the braided tank hose and turned the water valve back on. Still works but the valve is still leaking (just a little) and water is not flowing properly into the tank for proper refilling.

Just got one from Ace. I think its crap. Went around like 50 times and only a small groove. I thought i was doing something wrong. Had a better one years ago and i dont remember it being this hard so went to yputube to see if i was doinh something wrong. Apparently the brand makes a difference.

My cutters always walk and make a spiral cut. Know a way to not to do that?
