Are you kidding me,lol! I just now got done with basement bedroom. I was either making templates or taking up to the table and cutting them. Great video!!! Thanks
That's cool too Michael, I have also used templates around toilet bases, and basins by folding A4 paper around circumference, cutting around crease, then transferring/tracing to timber or tile
Oh, my goodness...I just heard you singing "My Babe" by Little Walter. That is one of my favorite songs, I love that song. You did a great job singing it. You are really good!
Same here ! I had to watch that 30 times until I realized that you were tracing the top tile over the one you were going to place, and the end of the top tile is the flooring ?? I still don't know. I am going to be watching this during my re-tiling of the living room that I am procrastinating over just for this reason! LOL
@@petehiggins3582 it's way easier than it appears, what you mentioned above, is exactly what happened . . Except!! You place one tile on top of another tile, both exactly within the space of the previously placed tile, Then . . . . Slide the top tile forward to the protruding edge of the cabinet, then cut along the under tile, along the back edge of the slid tile, this cut edge will become the meeting face edge for the cabinet, ie slide the under tile forward after snapping apart . . (Reverse Transfer Technique) is used in carpentry and joinery frequently
Heather, it is compromised a little, with the outward corner of the cabinet to consider, some of this has to be eyed in . . Ie, to be near accurate, use a straight rule, or set square to transfer the cabinet cotinuem dimensions onto the tile, being carful not to overcut into the finished face edge, of the reverse transfer cut . . Its way easier to watch on video, than to explain. I hope it turned out ok
