How to Cut Leather On A Cricut | Dangle Bar Earrings | DIY Leather Earrings

In this video, I'll share how to make diy leather earrings with a Cricut machine. It's easy to cut leather on a Cricut Explore, Cricut Air 2, and Cricut Maker. You just need a deep cut blade and purple strong grip mat. You can also cut cork sheets and faux leather on a Cricut machine too! When cutting faux leather on a Cricut Explore, Cricut Air, or Cricut Maker you can simply use the normal fine cut blade and green standard grip mat.
I love bar earrings! You can make these diy earrings however wide and however tall you like. In the video I make some skinny leather bar earrings and I also make some wide leather bar earrings.

This has happened every time I have tried to cut with genuine leather. Thank you for showing the fix for this. I haven't tried the brayer,but I have tried contact paper and it still moved. I am going to try again. I love the details you explain in your video.

My Explore Aire 2 pulls the mat all the way in and then back out just like your maker did on this video .

Hello! I sure do like the ice cube tray. Again, I think that your transfer / contact paper idea is a wonderful tip! I bought the leather pack. LOVE THEM! Excellent value! The burnishing cream is a jewel, also! AND, I am the proud owner of your ball end earrings and backs, SWEET! I shopped at three of your recommended Etsy shops. 2 for faux leather and one for cut files. I am completely impressed! Pink Antler included some small scrap pieces. How did she know! College faux leather...rockin' here in Alabama! I thanked her for her sweet sales job and put in another order! Also ordered from Art of Fabric. There I found a couple of pieces of faux leather that I am in love with! Making earrings on the cutting machine is a wonderful teaching method! This greatly narrows down my need to hand cut my leather. Mine mostly requires dying and will take tooling. I am having fun!!! :) :) :)

Love the glue. Have you tried the heat and bond sheets. I’ve been using those a lot too recently. Hasn’t caused any problem for my blade yet but I am watching that

Do you sell this earrings ? How much do you charge, if you do? I was thinking of making them too but don’t know how much I should charge . By the way thank you for the tutorial is very helpful. I love doing craft and now that I retired will be nice to find something nice to do and earn extra income.

Making earrings is so much fun. I never get bored. You will see prices vary greatly. I think the best place to start is looking at prices on Etsy. I see faux leather range $6-16-ish. I think those lower-priced ones don’t have a back layer and when you look at the close ups the attention to detail may not be there. For genuine leather I see prices range widely as well. Glad the video was helpful!

My Inspiration Corner Thanks so much for your help I really appreciated. I check on Etsy and you right looks likes genuine leather is the better option. I like the different styles and versions also this is great for gifts. I will be sending some to my daughter’s and granddaughters they appreciate the homemade stuff.
