Love this cut! I cannot find anyone to cut my hair, I even show pictures- oh ya! I can do that!- I walk out with no style and not even close to the picture I showed. 😭
After searching, trying out, and failing to find a decent hair stylist in Nor Cal, I gave up and cut my own hair. I love this pixie cut and I love your easy teaching style. Very good styling and great demo! This is the right way to cut pixie styles. So grateful to have found your channel. Subscribed! Thank you!
Thanks so much for your video on this particular pixie cut. I've worn an undercut pixie for 3 years and I was searching for a different pixie style which no clippers are used. I hate my neckline in the back after they "shear" it off. After about 3 weeks passes, it begins to look better. So - I'm going to try and cut my own pixie, like you cut in your video here. I've cut my own hair for years and years. I grew up around my Mom's beauty salon and learned very much during my teenage year's. That was a Loooong time ago!! lol I love your style in this video. My hair grows toward my face so it should do well with your pixie style. I appreciate your videos and will let you know how mine turns out (good) hopefully!! By the way, the short "clip" of you shows all of us women how good looking your are!! Take care, be safe and be healthy. Linda, from Texas.
You should cut your own hair Linda! I've done it for years! Vidal Sassoon stylists in LA charge $125 and don't even do a good job. I started cutting my own hair and like it a lot more. I also color with Satin (Italian) products from Amazon and it costs me $1 per hair color every 2 yrs and touch up roots every 2 months. $1 for hair coloring, imagine the cost savings. Get good scissors - that is the key.
Thank you very much for this informative video! I cut my elderly grandmothers hair for her since her mobility isnt all that great and cant get out to have someone cut it for her so I do it for her. Issue is I'm no professional lol and basically self taught so as you can imagine my technique is by no means perfect. And I haven't the foggiest on why I never thought to see if anyone on RU-vid uploaded videos like this one. Nevertheless here I am and will definitely give this a try the next time I cut her hair! THANKS! 💕
Love it but I find most stylists want to leave it longer and a bit heavier in the front on top. I prefer the opposite. Shorter front/bangs and a bit longer in the back.....just long enough to keep it soft and feminine around the ears and neck. Nice and short in the front. Please cut my hair!
i actually love this haircut!! i don’t think i will grow out my hair ever now. i get to wake up every morning and i don’t need to comb it (: but i just wish boys would stop telling me to grow out my hair though lol 🥲
The only suitable response to that is to get a hairtrimmer then look the boys in the eye while shaving your whole head, then stuff your hair trimmings down their throats ❤ you do you boo ^^ keep your hair however short/long you want, others' opinions don't matter!
@@mangosuffle thank u so much i needed to hear that :D i always grew up a little insecure and never had a good experience with my male classmates or colleagues, sometimes i feel like there’s a lot of pressure on women to look feminine and a certain way ): i’m glad i finally feel comfortable in my own skin :3
Can you share how you did the under bang? I'm always interested in why that? I cannot find a great pixie cutter, everyone cuts it so basic, not like your cut. Can you recommend anyone in Los Angeles?
Amazing cut!! You are sooo good! I chopped my hair 8 wks ago . First cut was good ( however the back wasn't texturzied enough /blended in certain araes and was longer on one side then other ) . I went back to the same guy last wk & i am not happy at all! I have been cutting it myself and trying to figure out what the issue is with it - i have no clue what im doing but i bought a pair of shearing sissors and just cut away . Basically we cut it w 1 side short and swept to the left where its longer . Like i said , 1st cut was pretty good but this 2nd one - he left the left side way too heavy ( i have very thick hair !!) & i asked him to just texturize a small piece on right side that wasn't blended properly - well, dude cut the hair so short instead all the to side of my head & it looks really dumb and he didn’t blend it so it just sits there & its ruining the entire look of this cut!! I am so pissed !!! I should have kept my mouth shut and just tweeked it myself ! Ive already cut the left side 2x since i got it cut last wk but i can't blend - im not a pro and so many areas at the sides need to be blended further ... this cut is just impecable !!!!! Not my cut :( .. i will not go back to him ! Im in Toronto . Its so hard to find a great stylist and with long hair i had sooo many bad cuts throughout my life , i thought those days were over ! Nope ! Im going to have to let this right side grow out a couple wks before i attempt to fix it /get it fixed .
Went to the hairdresser yesterday showed one of my old pictures me having a very short hair. Lot of layers on top and back. She did beautifully in on the back but no layers on my crown at all.
I love the technique that you use to cut. I would love to see this cut styled towards the back with a side bang. Everyone seems to want to style a pixie in a forward direction.
Third time going to different hairdressers for the same haircut . None succeeded. Pathetic tbh. I'mma do it myself, as always 😂 wish me luck, eh I can always go bald
aww I wish I can remember it was Aveda creative formula, this formula did it few years ago and i will be lying if I tell you what I used, but if you go to aveda salon they will help you for sure with this color, i do not work with aveda anymore I use only wella color now. I hope my answer helped you
