I loved your video everyone else did not show how to get through that hard outside wall. What was the round disk you used what was it called please and does it have a number on it? Sorry I'm new to tools.
It's good that you emphasized PPE at the start; ear, eye and but don't forget the dust mask too. N95 type won't do the job, use face fitting cartridge type breathing half mask before starting any type of cutting action with cementitious materials. Basic safety suggestions!
A lot of people remove the safety shield, myself included, the shield greatly reduces possible uses, I just wear gloves and safety glasses....and allways beware of kickbacks
A Skillsaw with a fine cut blade (60 teeth), cuts right through the stucco and wire mesh. A face shield helps with the hot metal shavings and stucco pelting you in the face.
I am new home owner and probably will hire someone and watch then does for first time. How do you know you are not hitting any wires behind the wall? Not a criticism, trying to understand the process of how to cut safely. Is it if there are no electric plugs onother side good to go?
Notice he opened the wall from the INSIDE first, to figure out where the studs are (don’t want to cut one to install dog door!) and also wires, plumbing…
Also you’ve probably seen those joke “price list” signs… that go like, “if you watch, $200. if you help, $500…”. If you do want to watch, have earplugs and eye pro(tection) ready.
After watching several if these dog door installs, the check if there is wiring happens way before the three centering holes are drilled. So you can safely assume there is no wiring if you've gotten to this point in the door installation.
I like watching your video because your normal people. You don't edit when your blade got stuck while cutting the stucco. You actually made me laugh and realized that I can do this even being a woman. Thank you for guidance it was very helpful and I subscribed.
What laziness, you mean the ability for the lazy dog to get out of the house when you’re not home to take a dump and/or scare away would-be thieves…? That laziness?
You are a complete tool. Why are you even watching/commenting on dog door install vids so specific as this if you aren't installing a doggy door? Such a jackass
