Hello Kathy!!! Thanks for watching. The truth is your flat bed sewing machine can equally sew the sides. But the technique is quite stressful and might not give you that professional touch. If you make lighter bags then you can easily use a flat bed. But if the bag is thick like the one on my thumb nail, the process would be exhausting.
