The most useful tutorial yet. Thank you. I’ve only just started using an open blade after using a DE razor for the last couple of years and you have managed to correct my schoolboy errors! 👍🏻
I've just ordered one of these and I'm just looking for a demo of the blade it self. Your the only one that does the demo AND demonstrats how to shave with it.. I'm sure I will be watching this numerous times when I receive it. 👍
41 years old taking to RU-vid to find out how to shave lol my wife got me a cut throat via my request, firstly I didn't realize I needed to snap the blades.. figured it out in the end. Then took to my face and cut myself x4 fucking times lol it's the angle / side switch that fucked me up. You made it look easy bro. So flat to the face, slight angle? PS, this may be my last message to you... I may be dead soon lol cheers
Bruh. If I waited five days to shave people would think I was sasquatch. Still, would be nice to give straight razor a try sometime. Nicely done tutorial!
Pretty good info here, IMO. But I dont use Bluebeards Revenge stuff, because atleast the shaving cream has something that effects ones beard density, thickness and growth rate. If they were to drop this chemical, Id reconsider!
Why do you also snap off the ends? Great tutorial by the way..how long did it take you to get proficient and how did you practice to make sure you didn’t get any knicks/cuts..
He snaps off the ends because it gets rid of the l-shaped bent piece of metal that is formed when a DE blade is snapped in two. These bent bits can make it difficult to seat the blade properly in a shavette and is one of the main reasons single blades can be purchased.
