Im sorry but where the heck have you been getting your hair cut lmao, yes she did well but it was deffo not better than any stylists, shes beautiful so I think any cut wouldn't look too bad on her, she also has great hair.
Hi Karen thanks for leaving me such a nice comment! Yes I did a cautious approach cos u know, didn't want it to turn out ugly. The method works well i think!

You were so nervous at the start. But it turned out very well, you look beautiful and refreshed. I also cut my own hair. This skill came in very handy during lockdowns when all salons had been closed )
haha we're not on lockdown but i'm too cheap to go spend money at the salon right now huhuhu! anyway its like a fun craft project at home every few months when i do it.
absolutely! it does grow out at quite an acceptable pace so long as one doesn't fixate n it in front of a mirror haha. im due for my next cut i just need to find some time to do it lol
I've been cutting my hair for years and am always satisfied, and learn with each cut. Sometimes I'm in the mood for bangs or framing my face, so it never gets dull
That is cool Jean,i'm cutting my daughter's & she is do it too my hair also,& we r satisfied..also colour our hair too,no more salon needed..u look fresh more weldone Jean 👍
Wow .... that's absolutely an amazing hair cutting tutorial my Dear! I'll definitely show this video to my wife ... she's so damned addicted to hair salons, hehehe! By the way, you guys are on my shout out list on my latest Upload.... See you then.
heya Kong Ding, tx! We are also subscribed with notifications to your channel, just been swamped this week with lots of work and home renovations! thanks for the support!
Dear Jean, Thank you so much for sharing this video with us! It was very helpful. I've been cutting my own hair successfully to keep it short, but your video helped fine-tune the process and make it easier. You did a great job of showing how you do a short haircut!
heya thanks I actually came up with this approach myself after watching a ton of youtube videos cos i thought it just made sense and i'm glad it worked out to help all of us cut the back of our nape easier! glad to meet another fellow DIY home self stylist! haha

@@GabrielThaliaMiraRosana1309 yeah actually since I started DIYing my haircut I’m getting results more closer to what I envisioned plus saving lots of pennies! Win win lah

aww thanks so kind of u! dont be anxious! in fact i went n cut it even shorter with layers like 2 months after i posted this video. U can check that haircut video out too its the layered bob DIY cut one!
I'm a boy with short hair, but your method of cutting my hair seems very effective! He makes me show your video to my girlfriend! 😁 Thanks for sharing ! Merci !
Try 'ISSAC YIU' RU-vid channel as well if you're searching of male/unisex self-cut 2-block haircut. It looks really nice to me but sadly it will require me to self-cut very often which might exhaust me out LMAO
I did this today and it came out so good. For a long time I was scared to cut my mid length hair short but your instructions were clear and the results were great so I gave it a try. Thanks for posting this it was really helpful.
I'm so glad! thank you for leaving this note to let me know it worked for you! we can now all rock short bobs for free at home and have some enjoyable me time to boot haha

Hi Jean! Just wanting to ritualize something new for myself today. Then found your blog... i followed it as you demonstrated. Now feels good with my new look! Thanks☺💖🙏
so exciting!!!! GOOOOOOD LUCK!!!! Please come back n lemme know ow it went for you!!! Most of the girls who did said it all went very well so all the best for yours too!!
@@pixieling7619 Hi Pixie I am so sorry i missed this reply of yours!! I'm SO HAPPY it worked out good for you too! It was simple wasn't it?! N yes, godsend when summer gets hot! thank you for comin back to tell me about it.
i usually cut my hair in trap or messy style. i would like to try the tidy cut like yours. wish me luck 😁 thank you for sharing. your hair cut is great! love it😘
GOOD LUCK!!!! Thanks for telling me you're gonna try this i hope it turns out awesome pawsome for you!!!! Yes this cut is quite a sharp look i liked it a lot. The blunt cut was quite edgy. Please lemme know how it turned out for u!!
Wow u are very daring for cutting ur own hair like that. I get nervous abt the back haha. Very clever what u did with the hair tie to catch ur hair when it falls haha! U did such a great job with ur short hair 😍😍 I want to cut my hair short too for the summer, this give me some courage to try it!
OMG! I have also cut my own hair but not as short as yours. By all means, it is nowhere as good as yours either. You look like a pro, dividing it in three section & tying the back to avoid the mess is excellent. You definitely did very well on this. Seems hard to cut the back though. You looked super awesome & I will definitely like:) And yes, I am completely inspired & I will give it a try again. This upload is total inspiration & enjoyed all the way to the end.
thanks girl! yes the back was challenging. overall took about 2 hours including anxiety pauses haha and lots of checking n doublechecking! but slow n steady wins the deal! u can try it too def it wasn't hard! just gathering up the guts to chop it so short at the beginning was challenging haha
Thanks for sharing this! I'm literally excited to try this DIY short bob style on my hair. I have been cutting my own hair for a while now but it is always a long bob style. Might as well try a short bob for a change 😉
Thank you so much 😊 the pandemic has truly made me discover a new fun hobby haha but i dont think i'm good enough yet to experiment on someone else's hair!! too risky! 😊
thanks Patsy! i've realised that the trick to short hair looking stylish is a good blowdry! plus it hides all the unevenness from a diy cut! so its a bit more high maintenance than long hair really
@@JeanVoronkova But at least I can wash my hair everyday (because I have to go out of my house...) since pandemic viruses is still running around rampantly...
oh please do! Its like a step into a wonderful new world, one that's without the whole communicating properly with your stylist thingey lol. a couple of girls here also gave it a try n seems like it all went well! Do lemme know if u decide to give it a chop :)
Dear friends 😄 Thank you for sharing 👍 It ’s a very nice video. I watched the video full time I'm using a translation site, so I'm sorry if it's a strange word 💦 Have a nice day 🤗
I lost the message I just typed. Just ignore if it comes through. Wow! Your new style looks professional. Thanks for the simple-to-follow tutorial and I will try it tomorrow. I am a new subscriber today and am from Mobile AL.
Hey there thanks for taking the time to leave us this message. Good luck for your DIY cut! Do come back n let me know how it goes! I hope u like the new short bob u will end up with!
@@JeanVoronkova I did it! I was conservative though I did cut off 7 to 8 inches of the length. But I decided this morning that I want to take it a little shorter even. It turned out very good actually and it was through the inspiration and the example of your videos. Thank you so much!
Watching your video looking how you cut your hair you look like a pro.....anytime Bob hair style always my favorite!! You looked much younger n cute with your new hair cut.....after watching your video I'm thinking to cut my own hair myself too....hopefully I have the courage to do it thank you for sharing!!
haha i'm totally not a pro! cutting this was like the 5th time in my life i cut my own hair. But its really not difficult, just bit scary. I do like the shorter hair! hope u convince yourself to try it, and if u do, please come back n tell me how it went! Good luck!
We're all out here alone seeing each other for guidance while cutting our own hair. When you smiled it reminded me it may all be a mess, but who cares. We're living our life and having fun and little mistakes, while still having each other's back. thank yu and everyone else who's here to share their own jumble of random a** makeovers.
@@TrashyDeath303 girl, last time I cut my hair I cut the bangs too short. I felt paralyzed. but you know what, imma bad bitch and it looks horrendous so I pretended it's high fashion. pretend it's high fashion till it gets grow long enough.
Hi Jean... thank u... oh yes my hubby loves my short hair now lol... he told me women are very creative and have lots of smart ideas... I am watching your video several times just to see how you did it...take care stay safe n stay healthy🥰
Glad the styling tip helped!! Love short hair but it’s a bit more high maintenance than long hair actually! Need to blow dry to make nice hehe especially if u cut bangs too! Glad ur hubby likes it now awww 😍😍😍
Respected Sister your performance is outstanding and magnificent and why you cut your hair because your long hair is looking good and fine anyway I am your your fan and like and admire your performance ok
Thank you so much Vicky!! i appreciate you leaving this kind comment 😍 hope u give it a go yourself! if yes, please come back n lemme know how it went!
Looks great. Prefer it a little toe the side. I cut my own hair. I do find it satisfying. I cut mine short, as yours, but do layers. I've watched many videos, hair dressers, and people like you. I'm getting better the more I do it. Well done.
