I was literally going to pay $35-$50 for someone to just trim my, dead, hair. But now, i'm just going to do it myself and save my money. Hopefully my cut turns out just as good as yours.
@@lalaleenax My flat ironer was making the process extra difficult and I couldn't flatten my hair all the way straight so, I had to put a pause on the process until I get a better flat ironer.
already messed up my hair but still.. you're such an inspiration, i intend to keep practicing to be as good as you to not rely on any outside forces in this
Ahhh thank you, I tried it and it’s the best haircut I’ve ever given myself. And I have curly hair and didn’t straighten it, I just wet it and pulled down. Probably bad for my hair but hey it worked, and ended up a pretty even shoulder cut.
Do u recommend for curly hair to cut it wet? Cus i wanna do that tomorrow und try to fix my haircut but im not sure if i should do it on wet or dry hair or maybe even straightend
What I can really appreciate as a guy with long hair and didn’t want to spend $20 to get a cut, this is really appreciated. Saving money is so important. Everyone is not some fail millionaire the ones that are loser.

I’m a licensed cosmetologist and you’re doing an excellent job cutting a blunt cut on yourself❤️ My scissors are super sharp because they’re expensive. So I wouldn’t be able to use them on myself like that.
Awesome video! I went to Cosmetology school yrs ago. I knew better, but they made a strict statement- " Do NOT cut past your 1st knuckle " lol.. I always did..and do, and have some scars from that. You're hair is gorgeous. I trimmed my hair like yours. I was in shock..as always, after shampooing again I like it. Again, great video..

Your voice is just fine! For some reason, many people don’t like the sound of their own voice. I think we hear our own voices differently than others hear them. you are a brave girl good for you. i have been cutting my hair for a few years now and i am looking for the new collarbone length cut diy just like you just did. however, i dare not try this myself. my hair is fine and wavy, i use the unicorn ponytail method and cut straight across. i think i will have to live with this or visit a stylist. thank you for this video xo

I’ve had my hair in a ponytail with a straight fringe for years.... really want to cut my hair short because my ends are dead and my hair is very thin and I think by cutting it short will help with products to make it thick again
