How To: (DAS) Cell Phone Signal Booster Installation In A Large Home 

How close/far away can you put dome antennas inside of a house? Will they interfere with one another?

I have to make a few comments... To anyone wanting to have a Passive DAS system like this one installed, there has to be signal outside your house or office in order to amplify signal and extend it indoors.... If there was no ATT , Verizon, etc. signal outside, or very weak, there is nothing or little to amplify......and therefore the performance will be hit or miss Saying there was no outside signal was misleading, and is why many people buy equipment online thinking it will given them signal is a dead zone and end up sending it back. Always install the Donor antenna outside when you can, especially when the signal is weak.... to eliminate the construction materials/ radiant barrier insulation, etc, from blocking the signal you are amplifying. ONLY install in the attic when the signal you need is very good in the attic.... . I would install the Amplifier in the Attic, versus wasting cable going down to the attic and then back up to the 1st, 2nd floors.....the loss in the cable and the splitters could be minimized.... Most attics have power making the cable run from the antenna to the Amp shorter, which is always preferred. Broadcasting signal thru interior walls into a backyard area is not realistic either......unless you have a very good incoming signal to the Amplifier! I have been installing Passive DAS systems for 17 years, and if the customer does not tell me they have a useable outside signal outside of the house, I make sure they understand it is not realistic to expect good, reliable indoor coverage, especially in a Large house.... I understand that this is a 4 year old video...Good luck to you and I am just trying to be helpful.... I thought you done a great Job can't belive they cared so much about aesthetics the outdoor antenna isn't even ugly wish I was smart and could set mine up somewhere on the roof but I swear in my basement window I get 3 bars everywhere else is 2 or 1 but I haven't got it facing the right way or something cause it didn't really boost it that much and it only really works at night

After the house was closed up, and totally finished, how was the signal connectivity expressed by the HOME OWNERS? Looks like a great product.
