I want to say the way that you tell us to bring back positive things when you are playing with toxic teammates is so useless if you play my region(300% pure toxic from HELL)
Bro i see all of your videos i am from india i want you to upload more videos and ya your legendary sero crosshair sent me iron to silver thanks bro also i named it our sero crosshair. We love you please be more consistent while uploading videos
I Smurf all the time and preach this religiously (try to teach noobs stuff they've never heard). This is the first time I've heard this broken down and broken down perfectly I might add. Kudos n cheers
Step 1: Drop them your RGX to boost morale. Step 2: Cry as you watch them throw an easy round. Step 3: Scream at your computer. Step 4: Uninstall and touch grass for the first time in 3 years.
If I’m having a bad day, getting some encouragement really helps. I’ve seen people go 5/20, but once we start hyping them up they start fragging tf out. Positivity is so underrated when it comes to the outcome of a game.
Yesterday (or the day before) me and my team was playing quite bad. Like i had less then 10kills or smth. But since my team didn't go toxic, we start doing really good to the point that i actually aced and i think top frag too. First we we're like 4-9 but we ended up draw 14-14 (not a win but wayyyy better than losing)
Another solid tip for duelist that don't entry is asking them to use a certain ability, and as a side affect, they will entry. Asking Reyna or Phoenix to flash on site, jett to dash on site, raze to name backside. Whatever it is that leads to them wanting to go on site
Mainly just involving them in what you want to do by telling them. 99% of people will comply if you ask them early in the game to do some sort of play with you. And then later in the game they will be more agreeable. Also just buying your team makes them like you way more. The first half I purposefully save a little so I am able to buy someone in something like the 5th round(stuff like buying half shield and not buying abilities I know I most likely won't use anyways) It's tough on you but I went from silver to plat pretty easily, and I'd say most of it was from keeping team morale up with a minority of it being from actually improving
@@TomPlugge whenever you get that jett you just need to reassure them you will follow them on site and trade. Most of the time they just don't want to go on site to just insta die, they are too worried. They think they'll just die for nothing. Works most of the time
@@klover4107 first of all not all yoru's are bad ik some which suck at him and just blind themselves and think his blind is for precaution and kills and his tp for outplays only but there are some like red or ethos and many randoms who actually know how to play him
Another point I've learned from things outside of Valorant is people want to be part of the solution. Just giving people constructive criticism is super helpful but sometimes, changing your phrasing of it to things such as "What can WE do to do this better" and by addressing the team as one entity, people don't feel singled out and part of the solution even if you follow that up by saying the same thing you would've anyways. Some people just hate being told what to do.
This is hands down one of the best guides I've seen. I agree with almost every point and people really need to understand this whole video of they plan on reaching anything past top 5%
Thank you, after watching this video I queued with bad teammates and we won because even if they're bad I keep being positive and cheerful and we Comback the Game!
After seeing this guide, i actually feel bad for my teammates couse im being so toxic to players that are not performing well. At the end im the bad teammate that so much time thought that i was pretty good. Watching your guides helps me not only to become a good teammate not only in valorant, irl too.
i have this problem too. all my teammates hate me but i believe i have a dark determination inside me that makes me better. they just don’t see it yet. i’ll keep playing i’ll keep grinding. ganbare ganbare, goat out✌️
This video gave me so much to think about my gameplay, And I honestly improved from this and I managed to win 10 games in a row from these tips, My teammates were so positive with me the whole game
Idk what it is maybe your videos are really having an impact but lately I’ve had some of the most wholesome players. Even if we end up losing it just makes the game so much more fun
Feels good to know that even if I'm not getting the most kills, I'm still helping my team win. I play KJ so after we plant and everyone goes out to find the enemies and get some kills, I'm usually the one staying behind with the spike as plan B in case my team dies in the process and I need to clutch. ❤️
One of the biggest things I’ve had trouble with so far is people not being aggressive enough. Like they’re aim is good but they lack confidence or are just super passive. Granted maybe I’m too aggressive but Teammates lack of confidence in their own skills makes it tough.
On the "give advice" everyone must watch i told my teammates peacefully that " No problem make sure next time you don't spray" AND in that they start saying "STFU YOU NOOB I KNOW HOW TO PLAY!!"
i dont really play comp much so this isnt as important but i never thought about all of these things, if i get a teammate whos bad i usually just become tilted and want to ff making me play worse which makes me more tilted, and thats not the way to go for games, especially as i play valorant a lot to relax a bit, im definitely going to keep these tips and facts in my head for when i next play as im sure this will help me so much more, and i have been needing something to focus on improving so i feel this is my best place to start, thank you for making one of the most helpful videos ive ever seen yet :D (if i remember i might come back in a day or so and say how my games went with this mindset)
Thanks, sometimes I feel I’m the bad teamate and this guide helps for that as well, if I’m playing bad I can try and bait for my team as well as use my util to flash FOR my teamates instead of my self. Keep up the great work!
In my 3800 hours of csgo i can say that if you seek improvement you should stop looking how your teammates play and focus on your own gameplay like what you could've done better. Focus on yourself rather than your teammates cause you will only play one game with them anyway. If you are nice dont expect them to be nice back. And dont forget tk enjoy the game. This is a really well done video!
You can actually use his cages to entry frag! Works phenomenal you should try it. Its called aggressive Cypher :) alot of people don’t expect you to go in as a Cypher. Also on ascent u can take B for free with the cages
@@hassinky9308 Sounds interesting, I didn't know it was an actual thing. Full story for my comment is just a game on Haven with three duelists that wont entry. Id usually chain 2 cages to get in. I find it really useful to find good cages to put down that can get you deep into site without anybody knowing you're there since the cage gives them no info. Also love entrying with cages + a Judge. Easy 2+ kills if I do it right
I do things like complimenting them when they compliment me like "dudee skye nice flash" I say "nahh sova thank you for droning first couldn't do it without you" This boosts morale a ton
I'M DIAMOND 1 AND SUFFERED A LOT THNX TO YOUR GUIDES I SUCCEDED TO GET OUT OF LOW ELO HELL BUT LET ME TELL YOU THESE LOW ELO PLAYERS TAKE CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM AS AN VERBAL ABUSE AND GET TOXIC AND SAY THEY'LL THROW THE GAME
Hi Sero, could you make a video about nervousness in Valorant? Sometimes I have a problem with that and I need some great advice. Otherwise great videos continue shooting, you are sooo funny😂😘
I had this problem too when starting to play ranked. The only solution to this is just playing more and not caring that much. It will go away eventually :)
I immediately used your recommendation in game and holy shit did the whole team do sooo much better, i was playing the igl and asking members to reposition politely if needed, and damn did it work, we weren't really great at the game, but because we were working together and other team had bad coordination, it went sooo smoothly. I could just fully trust me teammate to watch flank or my back and i could concentrate on one angle, which was generally hard for me as i was constantly worrying about angles others were holding. Hyping up teammates on good plays, clutches and kills boosted the morale a lot and we played really well, ty for your guides man, i have been stuck in iron 3 for the last 3 weeks as i started 3 weeks ago and i hit bronze today and won a lot of games with ur tips, ❤️
Thank you so much for the tips. I literally always drop 20 to 35 kills top frag and always playing with the team but losing lots of my gams due to this.
Thank the lord for this, I hate how I always top frag as omen and I’m always taking the lead because no one can hold their own fucking weight. Even tho I try to encourage my garbage teammates in a non toxic way as possible, sometimes I just snap and I start shit talking which is normally what I don’t do cause I’m not about that but thank the fucking lord for this guide
i wish every valorant player could see this. its not always because of your teammate its about you too this video made me realise so much god video keep it up!! i think you should make a new channel maybe some insane clip you hit in your game
i really REALLY appreciate you giving all your tips in a note-worthy kinda way. Like a random example at 1:30 you put your tip in 1 sentence on the screen its really great and easy to note it down that way
i needed to hear this thank you. Ive been dealing with a lot of toxic players and it's been affecting my plays in valo 🥺. I just hope everybody can understand that some people are still trying to grasp the utilities of the agents they chose. 🥺
my ego took a hit in this guide but that's a good thing. it made me realize I AM the toxic teammate. toxic doesn't always mean being a bad player, sometimes it simply means being impatient. im decent at the game but really impatient to players who make mistakes in unlosable rounds.
"Somebody watch behind us" Team: *Gets flanked for a flawless round* "Wait for Sova dart" Team: *Rushes in and gets killed* "We've been Running the same strat for 5 rounds lets try something diff-* Team: *Runs into entire enemy team* I'm not great but some things are obvious.
lol oh yeah I get those a lot I learned to kinda play around it, when u get teammates like that it’s usually one of those games where u had no chance of winning but calls like somebody watch behind us I don’t give I usually take initiative and say I’ll watch flank or I’ll use util to secure flank while I gotta do something with the team as for sova dart you can play around extra and lack of info if they all get hit by the dart or shoot it call a rotate if they don’t listen unfortunate, as for them repeating the same play people tend to be receptive of it just try saying it early or towards the end of a round when the loss is still fresh in their minds also repeating plays isn’t always bad watch the vid on defaulting and use the conditioning to ur advantage
Bro ur tips are amazing, also can u tell us how to get out of a very long loosing streak I deranked from immortal 2 to dia 1 and just dont know what to do anymore
Take what I say with a grain of salt because I am only plat 2 but are you playing and loosing multiple games a day? I´d say try to warmup before each ranked game or play unrated until you feel confident in your own performance. If you keep loosing games just make sure to take a break and play the next day.
In my opinion as a Gold Player (former plat 😥) and as an initiator main, I can say I'm a good teammate towards my random teammates because I don't lurk, flank, trash-talk. All I do is just seat back, be confident, be quiet, be mindful and focus. This is just my opinion though regarding my performance in every game.
this video really helped me, man. altho' sometimes i went drill sergeant on someone who forgot to move from the spawn (like they are talking in chat with the whole team, doing comms, but sometimes they are quite ditzy.. so yea, i'm the overly-serious-comic-relief guy for the team)
this guide is actually so good, and its 0% bs. The main thing though is trying to enable your team, We had a breach who kept going somewhere else alone and dying so i told my whole team to go with him, be as a team and support him lock down site. Even if he died, it was sort of like comms and we certainly used him as bait. We won the game
Hey though i never play ranked to much Are you like singapore server So if yes Wanna play next time in casual I will be controller Like brimstone or skye (is it controller) O do good player just bad aim But hey there a room for big brain player
I always just try to tell myself even when my teammates are new or toxic that i could get more kills or perform better to help win but I cant yet. This usually helps get me back into a better mind-set
Thanks for the Guide Sero, I know this video was published a while ago but sadly the Valorant Community hadn’t gotten better. I have been taking actual Notes of your Videos for a while now since my Monitor has been Broken and decided to increase my game knowledge. Hope you come back soon!
The problem in my gold/silver lobbies is that at most 2 people have mics and just chat which causes them to die because they are just standing still and spamming in the chat
Easier said than done but great guide. Will try to implement this into my games. One of the bad teammates you didn't include though is AFK teammates. Almost every game, I have a teammate that just goes AFK for half the round which ends up costing the team the round. Really frustrating. They always seem to have voice chat off as well and never seem to listen to me even when I just ask them why.
Straight up tips are so on point. The thing is, dealing with bad teammates is pain. If someone wants to rage he will no matter if u r winning or not. I've had people raging on me even when I'm dropping 30 while smurfing. Just mute them, q with ur buddies and have fun. Great video tho, sero has analyzed this ranked game in such a deep level.
@@ItsJavaJawa This isn't league. If u take too long to kill someone either u die or a teammate saves ur ass. Plus, we play for the round, not the most kills in the round. I personally would not mind having teammates who "steal" all my kills, as long as we win the round.
Awesome... I had a bunch of games with very toxic mates... they started being toxic before someone picked an agent... after this vid i can go in games with positiv vibes by knowing if someone being toxic mad Bad or just throwing imma help him out 😊 thx for this guide
Bro thnx for your guides. It has made my aim, movement, positioning and every other major thing a lot better. Because of your guides I am ranking up fast. You r the best. I think ProGuides should hire u.
I was a Jett Main before then I realised that I get kills but I dont give the entry to my teammates so, I started maining Sova so that I can get picks from mid while my team enters site ranked up from bronze 3 to gold in 3 weeks by implementing this tip.
ONG though, after this, all of us who have bad teammates in our comp games r gonna remember this… and not use it bc we are all bronze to plat elo and don’t care enough about the game but still watch this vid over and over cuz it’s entertaining
I was playing with some friends the other night and there was the one toxic dude so my friend, in an over the top cartoony voice, said stuff like “omg ty i need a big strong man like u to guide me” and a few rounds later he apologized for being toxic and was actually very nice to play with lol
My favorite teammate is always going to a good positive person but my second favorite is the new player that wants to learn because 90% you will do better then the enemy if you being positive, saying sorry if you make a bad call but also make a call for them and how to improve
Trying to explain things to new players is so challenging i went from gold-plat to now bronze-silver and the amount of people ive seen that dont listen to anything i try to tell them due to the lack of game sense is astonishing
1:21 I just want to say that there are people who will intentionally throw games from the start because they want to derank their account. I’ve seen it with alt accounts who want to boost their friends but the account is too high.
The worst kind of teammate I encountered in my games are the instalock duelist throwers that peek aggressively, then complain about baiting when you play off contact...
val currently has a curse on my we’re all of my team goes negative and i’m the only person performing!! gotta love taking a 7 month break from the game and still having to carry!
Just finished watching this, bad teammates are something I don't want to deal that's why playing with friends helped me, the randoms that I played with would be not using their util correctly, duelist teammates can't even entry, more dumb moves etc etc
