In each clip that’s she standing up for herself she didn’t lose her cool. Throw insulting words or pull her hair. She did it with class and simply stated the truth. Bc there’s always someone recording. Idk if that makes sense. Like standing up for yourself doesn’t always mean throwing curse words or physically fighting back. We live in a society where social media influences a lot of things. It’s a good and bad thing. Edit: I also want to add that being role model it is even more detrimental to stand up for yourself. Why? Bc younger people might think it’s okay to be walked on bc they saw their celebrity be treated such a way. By seeing that she can defend herself against bullies even one’s more powerful than she can motivate and inspire them to find a way to stand up. While it’s not easy it better than being treated such a way and being used as a doll for humiliation.

I agree with you! Sometimes you do have to defend yourself by putting awful people in their place, but also, I've learned that real power don't waste time and energy on barking back at the haters. In the last clip, I think it was unnecessary to go there, she lost face by giving them attention. I know for a fact that even though someone has more money or influence in the world than you do, inside you can still be much more powerful than they are. And in the end that is what matters. People who have to deal with poverty, illness, or any hardship and beat it, will become extremely strong. Someone coming from wealth will never reach that kind of toughness. While you are the underdog and you think you have less, you can go and fight and you can try to make them respect you, but as soon as you are on a higher level intelectually you just start to ignore them and let them bark to the walls.

In their world it’s not that hard to cover up smth. Example: weak hero. Sieun knew he was weaker than them but he always stood his ground and they were upset they couldn’t get at him til they messed with smth he cared abt. His grades. As for Seo Ari they didn’t pay her no mind til she spoke her feelings. While her intention wasn’t to harm anyone it started a whole bunch of drama therefore becoming an enemy. She could’ve worded it differently which is the down side of the media bc they take your words and run miles with it. But aside from that they saw they weren’t getting to her which in turn left them only to humiliate themselves more than she did. Like at the first party then at the other party where she stood up for the other girl. You get it. I also think that the only time she was humiliated was when they spread false rumors or set her up. I hope I’m making sense. Bc I’m also jus ranting. 😭😭

I used get bullied in primary school. Thats why I used run away from school to my elder sister’s school. One day my mom got to know about it so she scolded me and after that I started throwing punches at those who tried to bully me. After that I never let anyone bully me ever. I hate bullies to the core. They are just bunch of sadists who get satisfaction at others pain. This woman is absolutely right. Bullies need to be tackled in the language they understand.

This drama showcases how money and fame cannot buy class, kindness or even dignity, qualities that are way more important long term than any fancy dress or event. People who need to bully others and get dopamine from that sadly rarely go anywhere in life and they don't seek therapy to improve, I had school bullies who were girls and not a single one of them became successful despite their self-proclaimed potential.

Being you makes you more powerful than any other pretentious one out there. You can be outspoken when you know you live life in reality and not fantasy. The lead may have desired fame and wealth like the others. But being authentic made her stand out. they hated her rise to stardom when they did everything in years to get where she suddenly got to in a shorter period of time. But nevertheless, she slayed all these bullies.

People who say that the main character don’t need to do anything with all the drama definitely don’t have a friend in real life that think and act like her 😂 what the main character do in this series were exactly like what my best friend would do to defend herself and people close to her. Like, she’s been in drama all her life, willingly or unwillingly. For some people, maybe it can be a little overwhelming to be with her and know all the drama. But she have this view and idealism about dignity even if she’s the “weaker” side, and i respect that. That’s what she do to make people who messes with her know what she capable of if you mess with them.

This only shows the nasty side of the influencer world. The real celebrity world in Korea is a lot worse and much more ruthless that what's depicted here. Most of the Kpop idols people idolize have some of the most disgusting back stories ever (I have a friend that's a manager for an A list actor in Korea). I've heard some pretty nasty stories of how celebrities act and how often managers change because how nasty celebrities are behind the scenes.

Mainly the 2nd gen of male idols also were escorts to the old ladies of hight society. They also have services where they are 'booked' for rich parties cough*orgies*cough. The way for myself to deal with bullies is that they should be aware of who they dealt with.They should also understand that it is not their right to bully someome else and they have no power to do so.They can't able to treat someone else like a slave or a low person because the rest of people wouldn't like that person.Also they should know what you reap comes back to that person in fold.So what a bully reaps is what he/she will sow and that comes to someone bullying his/her kids.
