Honest advice. Try to play around your teamates. If you see them going for flanks? You wait on the other side of that flank long enough to let him get a pick or assist him getting a pick. If your team gets the pick watch over that res. Youd be amazed at the amount of times the team forgets the res and ut goes back to a 3v3 when you could’ve watched res and stay in the zone. But yeah most importantly play around your team. If they’re aggressive be aggressive with them. Same if they’re passive you should play passive.

@@K2shadowfax because you’re an idiot? You’re blaming it mainly on matchmaking rather than actually getting better yourself. If you get better yourself, then maybe those supposedly “dodgy games” and difference in skill levels of “ninja squads” wouldn’t be as bad. The whole git gud skrubs thing is actually true, but just proposed in the wrong way. If you don’t have thumbs or have a disability I can see why you can’t get above a 1.0, but there is always room to improve aim, and then understanding cover, situations, what abilities you have, what certain mods, stats, and other things do to help win games.

Subjunctive is a much more PvE focused gun. Lightweights are also the hardest to use at the moment because they get out ranged by the other smg archetypes, so maybe that will help you feel at least a little better

I wouldn’t be using that weapon. I also wouldn’t be using Lucky raspberry. Look up RU-vid videos and watch Jake play on twitch to get ideas as to what guns and armor you should be using. You can’t just grab anything and jump in. I mean, you can but you’ll probably get destroyed. Eventually you’ll get an idea as to what’s good and what’s not on your own

A lot of players slay, will go straight to picks, play smart flanks, etc. You just gotta hope you'll get the higher KD players.

@OthersideSparrow everytime I try to flank my teammates yell at me for not pushing. Am I moving too slow? Cuz sometimes flanks take way longer depending on the map. But when it's 1v3 every time I engage, what do I do?

Funny to see you, destiny has some SBMM, so if you’re a trash can player, yes a lot of times you will get put with other trash cans. I’d recommend playing normal pvp first and getting decent at it so you’ll be more adequate in trials ( the sweatiest form of pvp in destiny……)

@riioas5543 trials has no sbmm. Thats the issue with it. I can't win 7 matches in a row against players with higher elo then me.

That's how I feel sometimes if both team mates are up in a 3v1 I'll stay on point because it for me feels like you're forcing their hand to make a move even though it's not the best play. Sometimes I would push up with the team but one guy gets bodied and I'm like it's their fault they are going for what they think is the right play. Sometimes I think it's all about where you're at mentally don't get mad just learn from it.

we all grinded a lot of competitive pvp first until we felt we were good enough to move to trials, camp competitive for a while its really good because it works exactly like trials 3v3 elimination. its the perfect practice. still give trials a try bro coz u get rewarded just for playing it now. u get the trials items nonstop hopefully u get a good roll gun like summoner or the messenger pulse, they will help u a lot. 1 tip i can give is if your not confident in your gun skill, make sure u follow 1 guy on your team and team shoot with him, this is so good its almost like cheating. it will cause your team to win games no matter how good the enemy is as long as they don't all start using the same thing to fight back lol.

Practice aiming and stuff in other game modes. The labs right now is a 3v3, comp is 3v3, and general control and other quick play is a good place to practice high intensity reactions and aiming and strafing. There’s much to practice even not in trials. Once you have those skills down you can graduate to trials. We want more people in the playlist. Come join us!! 😁

Trials is for everyone; the "good" players always seem to forget everyone sucked at the game as a whole at one point. Speaking as a perfectly average player, the only way to get better is to play the game. The only reason I've improved is BECAUSE I play it, and I enjoy the mode more than I used to because I've improved. There is no reason to practice in other modes. Just practice in Trials. There's no law saying only good players should be in there. I had a 1780 on one of my teams today using the most awful weapons. It was rough for them and we lost! But so what? I hope after the 1780 blueberry was done with Trials they got some engrams, got a nice weapon or two, and it was worth it for them! There are good (and meta!) weapons to score and obtaining them has never been easier. Prophet, Summoner, Igneous, Cataphract, Messenger, all amazing weapons. To get started; look at what weapons are good in PvP and see if you have any comparable rolls, look up a basic PvP builds, then join the queue. Inspect your enemies' loadouts - ESPECIALLY if they are beaming you. Those will give you an idea of what you should be looking to farm. Forget about Flawless, just grab a Passage of Wealth and play to farm rep and engrams. Set yourself a goal of playing enough to reset your rank. Expect to die a lot. PvP stats don't matter in this game anyway, except as a flex. So who cares if yours are bad? People shouldn't solo queue if they expect consistency in their teammates, and certainly shouldn't blame them for ruining "their" cards. Trials is for everyone, more so now than ever. Screw anyone who says you shouldn't play a part of Destiny 2 because you aren't "good enough" to.

Every day you can farm world drops at a lost sector. If you do it on master you’re guaranteed to get one of the four drops for that day and it comes with an extra perk. There are four rotations of weapons and helio was yesterday (Friday) so it should be again on Tuesday

The matchmaking has nothing to do with your KD. It’s random. You can play the best players just like you can play the worst
