One of my relatives is mega-rich with big mansions but no happiness and peace in their lives at all - they all look so depressed. As for social media, I'm not on any of them at all alhamdulillah. The only thing I do is watch beneficial Islamic videos or any travel videos (since travelling is a passion of mine) on YT. but not for hours and hours
I'm not going to lie, the more I get on deen, the more and more depressed I become because I start to realize the state of humanity. It's only when I come off deen is when I start to become less depressed because I stop remembering humanity. Inshallah this lecture will allow me to be less depressed while also staying on deen.
