Goto : In VSCode, File-->Preferences-->Settings. Then search for the salesforce apex config option, and set the java:Home to C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_201 (as per your jdk location), then restart the vscode. Hope this helps.
come to the point straight! one who come to this level must be knowing how to create a trigger and installing VS Code! your main goal was just to introduce Debug in VSCode, 5 mins video you made almost 17 mins!
