We used base64 as the hidden msg ends with ==, use toolbox.googleapps.com/apps/encode_decode/ as per the requirement. this decodes numbers and letters.

Select source character set from drop down menu in base64 decode as per the requirement.

Depends, if the image is embedded with some malicious code.
