Hello Mary, its always a pleasure hearing from you my friend, thank you again for taking the time to watch my videos and specially for leaving your kind comments 🥰💞🙌
Hi Yaya, Yes I have the templates that i use in my video tutorials now available as a digital download from my website, here is a link for you: www.cookielicious.co.nz/templates.html
Hi Samantha, some of my cutters are custom made but most of them were bought from shops. If you check my description box I always list all the tools i used to create & decorate the cookies, including the link to where I bought the cookie cutter from 😊If I don't have the cutter and I hand-cut the dough I also mentioned it in my description box, so be sure to always check there first 😉👍💞
LOL 😜🙌💖
Hi Bryanna, please check my description box for all the links to all the tools I used to create & decorate my cookies. I have also included the link to where I purchased my boxes from 😊 Btw, if you want to see how to prep the cookie box I showed it inside one of my tutorial here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TJJdkvdz4RU.html Hope that helps 😁👍💕
Hi Trisha, I usually like to use one medium consistency to decorate most of my cookies, as it saves me so much time to just have to mix 1 icing colour in one consistency rather than preparing two different consistencies (one for outline & one for flooding). However depending on the cookie designs, sometimes I still need to use outline consistency icing to do detail work on the cookie, so if you need it you can add more icing sugar into your medium consistency icing to achieve the outline consistency. In saying that, sometimes when you need to cover a large size cookie with icing, it is best to use outline consistency all around the cookie then fill it with a thinner consistency icing (flood consistency) so the icing wont start crusting on your cookie while you are still trying to ice it (before you get a chance to smooth it out with a scribe tool)....does that make sense? So i can easily change the consistency of my icing with either adding more icing sugar (if i need a stiffer icing for detail work) or adding a little bit of water if i need a thinner icing. I hope this explains it for you...let me know if its still confusing 😋
Uh!
Hi ColorOfCharisma, nope the dehydrator doesn't dry out my cookies or affect the quality/texture at all. What it does is drying the top layer of my icing and reduces the waiting time in between layers for me. However, the key is to not leave it there for a long period of time. My usual time is usually 20-30 mins at the lowest setting (mine is 35 degrees). If you leave it there for hours (or for too long) then yeah it will probably dry out your cookies, but while the icing is still wet it protects the cookie (acts like a layer of protection) and the dehydrator will only dry out the top layer of icing, not your cookie itself. I never had any complain so far about my cookies being dry so i hope that helps clarify things for you 😊 NOTE: If you are looking to get a dehydrator, I would highly recommend to get the one with the fan either at the top or at the back (not at the bottom) as we don't want the fan drying out your cookies from the bottom instead of drying the icing on the top of the cookie. Hope that helps 👍💖
Hi Katherine, mine is The Food Lab Sunbeam dehydrator which i love 🥰 If you are looking to get a dehydrator, I would highly recommend to get the one with the fan either at the top or at the back (not at the bottom) as we don't want the fan drying out your cookies from the bottom instead of drying the icing on the top of the cookie. Hope that helps 👍💖
