Lovely ideas Theodore!! I would only use battery operated candles, especially when so near flammable items. Better to be safe.

So I was very inspired by your hurricane candle vases and did one of my own today. Well it looks amazing, but I think I messed up majorly lol. I put the kosher salt on the bottom then I put a Christmas tree candle with small ornaments around the inside bottom. Looks amazing, but I don't think I can light the candle now that I'm thinking about it. The candle when lit is going to melt from the sides I think and get the salt messy. I shoulda just went with a pillar candle, but the Christmas tree candle was so cute! Any suggestions? Wish I could send you a pic so you could see. Lol

I think that even with the double glass, candy and a candle in the hurricane glass will make the candy melt.

it's so pretty!!! If you're a clumsy person like me, can i just glue the candle to the glass, put a ziploc on top of the candly, pour the salt, and take off the ziploc?
