I used to work in a Trim-A-Tree department in a local store and they always had a team from NYC come and decorate the trees for sale. I learned a lot from them that I still use. I cluster my ornaments, too. I usually don't use ribbon but I think I will give this a try this year. 🤔 Kylie, your tree is off the chain. Definitely bussin 😊

I have 2 trees, I do MY TREE in the living room that I try to do all fancy and cute 😂😅❤ And then we have a little like 2 ft that I put the "special " decorations on and let the kids do it ❤

Kylie, my new tree had lots of white little lights. I decorated my tree for two years now, with blues, silver and crystals. I hated the white lights, at night you only noticed all the lights and nothing really in the fully decorated tree. This year I decided, I am putting in only multicolored lights (a bit more subdued and calming) with red, silver & crystal decorations. A look I had a few years back which I absolutely adore. The white lights scream at me too much...lol Your decorated trees are absolutely BEAUTIFUL, well done!

@@LeahFairfield safety is paramount, she does so so much. It was just a nice comment to let her know she doesn't need to do everything on her own all the time, as the family have just said on her Mom's vlog.. they're their to help, just say the word. I worked for a drop ship company that made products for Jackson & Perkins, Calix & Carolla, Harry & David and such. We called those loops with the nice angled edge and the trailing longer tail, 'tweedles'. Many of our products required 'tweedles' and 'bows' so I spent hours making both. Thought you might like to know what we called them.... Also used in boutonnieres but with shorter 'tails'. Thanks for the tips!

Kylie you know the garbage bags you get with the twist ties. I use Those twist ties or ones from bread products. They’re already cut so that takes one step away you don’t have to worry about and you get them free when you buy the dollar tree bathroom trash bags.

in my day we used tons of tinsel on our trees. No one put ribbon or bowsb or large ornaments. We just saved our ornaments from year to year. We only used 1 tree too.

I actually did add lights this year that didn't match in color, but I kind of love the effect. I have some that are clear and others with a more yellow cast. I also have just two strands of twinkle mixed in. All done it seems like sparkling gold and silver!

Your tree is stunning! When I was able to decorate my Christmas trees, I would run lights up and down the trunk of the tree! I would choose lights that are similar to my color theme. Like when I did blue, silver, and white theme. I would use blue lights up and down the trunk of my tree! My family & friends were always amazed at how beautiful my trees were! I even used to make ornaments for my tree. Unfortunately I’m no longer able to decorate my tree anymore, do to illness. So now I really enjoy watching you put your heart into decorating your house, as well as your moms! 🎄💝

You can use paper clips to hang ornaments too! My mom used those when i was a child. Beautiful tree! I love the “iced tree”!

Your tree turned out so good, as always! 😅 I wish I could decorate as amazing as you. When I decorated my bedroom tree the other day I had ribbon but I couldn’t make it look good so I just ditched it and wrapped it around my bedroom door 😂 My bedroom this year was The Grinch theme so my tree was red and green with a cute big bow as the topper and I had a few little Grinch wall/table decor around. My bedroom tree is only 4ft though so that could be a small part of why it wasn’t working for me 😅 I also had to un decorate the bottom half of my tree bc my cat would not leave it alone no matter how many times I sprayed her with water 😭😂 I can’t wait to see all the other decorating videos!!! Lots of love from Florida ❤

She posted this on one of the videos she did (last year I think) when decorating a tree in the Crazy Middles house, she uses a wooden spoon, she ties the wooden spoon to the brand that the star will sit on to make the branch more sturdy xx
