I want to do this I've never done this before your work is really pretty and you're very very detailed thank you for the video especially for someone like me who's never done this. my question is I would like to do this on a terracotta pot, but I also want to put my flower and vegetables in it
I have a metal planter I painted with chalk paint and sealed with an outdoor varnish outside. After three winters, it is still beautiful. With terracotta I would first seal it, so that the moisture would not seeo through it and then continue with white paint, varnish to glue napkins and three coats of varnish over the napkin.
You did a nice job with the pitcher it’s so pretty with the red flowers. I’ve don’t the same thing with gold leaf and ended up with gold specs and it looks good that way. You‘re very good at laying out the pattern. Do you apply the final seal or varnish after the glue or without the topcoat of glue? Thanks for sharing
