Loving the videos, defiantly want to see you do anything you can film, your helping me reline and carpet a 84 bedford cf2, I've got the v8, the big tires and now doing the inside during lock down with your help, and im loving it. Thank you
Gross but weirdly satisfying.😁 my suggestion for the fuzzy bits on the base is to take a cheap disposable razor and shave it. I do that with my knitwear with varying degrees of success.
Agreed, I've been cleaning carpets and upholstery professionally for 20 years. Don't use a drill, just gently agitate with a hand brush. Good video otherwise.
I agree that the brush is quite aggressive, and I do say right at the beginning that the drill and brush isn't neccesary, however I was displaying different methods.
if you take off the covers & wash them , deffo use laundromat , because bigger machine the covers have more room to tumble ? so come out cleaner ... mustie has uploaded so i'll come back later to see how the covers come out
Thanks. Didn't realise what the problem was until the first pass with the cleaner. Did the stuff brush damage the fabric? Would you do anything different to remove fish stink?
Great video! Have you even made your own seat covers or changed the foam on the seats to make them more comfortable? Or is it just not worth the hassle? Would love to see the driver's seat change over!
Is it a similar process for removing T5.1 covers? We have retrofit heated seat kits to fit this weekend and need to get under the covers. Love your videos by the way. Bought a sticker at the weekend!
Great stuff I will be tackling mine soon it's worse than yours. I have seen people with seat fluff on the baaassee shave it with a razor worth a look not sure if it works but take a look
If its going to be used as a worx van I would put seat covers over them, will save you this very labour intensive process again in the future, thanks for showing us by the way 👍
Good indepth video, I basically did the same to my work van years ago (it smelled worse than a damp Labrador, think the previous driver must have been Incontinentia Buttocks), a couple of tips you may want to try, if the seat fabric has that furry damage you can remove it by using a 'bobble shaver' they used to be used on jumpers, sweatshirts, clothing etc. also I'd definately Scotchguard them especially in a work van, saves a lot of mither later
I suppose you're going to be getting stuck into cleaning the cab while the seats are out. What programme did you use on the washing machine, btw? I assume it wasn't a boil wash, however tempting that may have been...
I like watching your videos. They are great, but I absolutely hate the music used. I realise it may be royalty free RU-vid supplied, but all that disjointed style of music is appalling. Please use some proper music. 🎵😎
