Nice video. Thanks. But my problem is, I can't control my players. They're very slow, they gives most of my passes to the opponent. Also, they can't hold on to the ball. When ball get to their legs, I don't know how it happens, the ball will get bounce back to the opponent. My goalkeeper too, always pushing ball into the net or back to the opponent. And the one that annoys me the most, 80% of my shots hits the goal pole. What do think is the problem? My internet speed is 600Mpbs. It's frustrating.
When you are defending. Every time the opposing team passes the ball, with your right stick you should be switching through at least four or five of your own players. Every time you switch to a player you should be trying to get that player in front of the ball or in front of the player that the opposing team will pass to. Sometimes in this process it is necessary to press lb first before you start switching to other players. There is never a time when you are playing defense that you should not be proactive with your lb and your right stick switching because switching to at least four to five players represents thinking four and five steps ahead of the play.
When l am using the second man contain l struggle a lot because my defense get scattered and my defenders run as if the are chasing a goat . I suffer a lot
Watch who the actual cursor is on And know the player you are trying to stop If u loose control of the actual player with the cursor on, then u probably get confused
Yah but how do u defend against players who r using right stick dribbling? Even if i jockey without using sprint, the opponent is constantly turning n beating my defender. My defender is always a step behind n lagging to the dribbler. Im sure that is the main problem most of us have on fifa 22
The answer is...get good. Sounds like the "main problem" is you just need more practice. EA can't make you better or worse by changing settings that effect everyone equally.

@@Herbert_Sama dont believe that ping bullshit , ea do something to the connection to make it even to you opponent , they admited this to me in email also low ping is not always better i can tell you that of 20 years of experience in online gaming . you gameplay experience depends on opponent connection . you cant solve the problem , also different internet providers give differend gameplay
can't just be me who has the problem of the whole team being fucking useless? not making runs not sticking to defensive positioning even with custom tactics and constantly moving players back to where they should be is so fucking frustrating.
I often see opponent players intercept my passes easily, and my own players dont do shit. Is it something to do with stats of the individual player, or team tactics/mentality/player instruction? Somehow i cant get interception to work well no matter how fo tweak the strategy settings. Also, some opponents can tackle almost too easily. Its like they are using Legacy Defending, and always auto move towards the ball, whereas I had to manually go for the ball.. But I cant turn ON Legacy Defending in FUT matches, I kinda suspect there an exploit/cheat to turn it ON, because its too overpowered. 2nd man contain is useless, as of August 2022. Its like the 2nd man just run close to the ball, try to block, but doesnt tackle or do anything else. The opponent can still cruise through and my 2nd man just follows.
How can I tackle without necessarily sliding and conceding a penalty or a red card? Am a victim, everytime I slide, it's either a pen or a redcard.. Please help

Yeah, that's why I'm quitting Fifa22, it's so frustrating when you have muuuuuch more sskill than your opponent and you keep suffering goal after goal the same way, from the wings all the time! it's driving me nuts reallyyy

I hate it but if you can use two players to block the pass perfectly these players are lost. You will get the ball lots of the time and it’s so satisfying.

The only reasonable nerf to 2nd man pressing is tuning it down a tiny bit to not perform tackles unless really really easy ones. If it stays like it is now I'm fine with it too
This guide doesn’t work when my defender (which I was not controlling) suddenly concedes a random penalty. I have had 10 of those fake penalties on FIFA 22, when will they patch that? 🤣
Lol bruh i been playing career mode since the first second i got my pre order and the game is just broken. You drop back and block passing lanes and the AI pull off top corner goals from 25 yards, with players who have less than 50 shooting. Also, the AI dribbling is broken, they'll run past you with no effort and they'll do things without using skill moves, that are impossible for you to pull off. And dont start me on their defending and passing. I can count on one hand the number of passes i intercept in 10 games. Most of the times its impossible to even get possession. Its more frustrating because i destroy them easily in world class. They just turn into something very elite on legendary
Defending is, to me, the most awful thing to do, especially in FIFA 22. I usually score 2+ goals in seasons etc. (Div. 7 rn) and control most of the possession (since I'm an admirer of Pep and Klopp). But in defensive side, I suck and concede way too many goals, especially when opponents have players like Mbappe, Diaz, Messi or the likes. I would tackle one player, he would get passed and BOOM... Goal. On the contrary, when I won't tackle, he would get past me anyway. I'm so angry with my defensive side :(
Ok cool but now can somebody please explain to me why pro players have this weird bug called **defender ai playing position and marking** that first clip with the 2v2. My player would have been scratching their ass and the situation would've turned into a 2vGK

Absolute rubbish career mode defending ends up absolutely shocking midfield tactics to come back and stay back when attacking does not work gameplay in my last game was slowing down and players jerking something is wrong with this typical EA wankers they fuck it up every year and do not care as long as they make their cash.
2nd man contain is awful. It's supposed to use the player who has the 2nd icon over his head (not the player you're controlling) Like you say it randomly just pulls players from anywhere and as they only press for 4 seconds and then run backwards you end up with headless chickens I pressed the 2nd man contain button the other day and a player got up from the bench and starting charging the ball carrier 🙄
this shit is so funny ,each year the same bullshit from the content creators i can tell you after 10 years of game play and connection testing , from the point your a decent player it al come down to how much delay you have compared to you opponent the game is a big scame . for defending its hard to do if manuel player switching works only late at night or you players freeze 1 sec every bounce
I am convinced this game is racist. When I press O to tackle they don't tackle they just run beside the opponent. Watching this video makes me upset that you can press O once and they push a foot. Even looking at how your defense line is set, The game always let 2 of my defenders mark 1 guy and my CB running to mark a winger when my full-back is already there which led to the midsection of my defense to be open, and not to mention how there is always 1 defender keeping everyone on side while my other defenders playing an offside trap. I watched pros and RU-vidrs and their defenders don't behave the way mine does. This game is rigged.
