How To Define Accurate PCB [Shape and Dimension ] Resizing PCB Altium PCB #08 

In this module we will be discussing how to define the 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗖𝗕 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱,𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴,𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹, in Altium designer.
𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗦𝗶𝘇𝗲:
The first thing that you will want to do is to figure out what PCB size and shape your board needs to be. We won’t spend time on that process as that is usually dictated by the requirement of the design or your company.
𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻:
A linear dimension is a group design object. It places dimensioning information on the current PCB layer with respect to a linear distance. The dimension value is the distance between the start and end markers (reference points selected by the user) measured in the default units. The references may be objects (tracks, arcs, pads, vias, fills, polygons, or components) or points in free space.
Altium Designer has mainly three modes for working with the design.
1) Board Planning Mode
2) 2D Layout Mode
3) 3D Layout Mode
