How To Dehydrate Water Beads Using The Oven | Including How To Store Them

So , if like me, you ended up buying these things for your kids over lockdown and now have to deal with the repercussions of your purchase...look no further!!
I have found this to be the easiest way to dry up those water beads back into their teeny tiny starting size so it makes them easy to store and gives you a chances to play with them another day.

If you dry them a little longer they will return to the exact size and texture bead as you bought them.

I would leave the door cracked open to let the moisture escape the oven, otherwise you're just kinda creating a sauna in there.

Finish it off by putting them in a bucket with a damp rid container and they’ll be back to 100%

Why store them in a sealed container? Wouldn’t they dry out more in maybe a cloth bag?

Do you know if the water beads can be stored long-term in an air tight container when “activated” wet?

I have yet to have any issues with storing them in an airtight container and we have reactivated them with water a few times now which has worked wonderfully!

My kid goes to the fridge all the time no no for me lol even if they are dehydrated I’d be trash g these too many kiddos dying even with the “non toxic ones”
