Let me show you a quick, simple way to delete unused old wallpapers from your iPhone.
If you've created different wallpapers in the past, you might notice that the wallpaper settings menu doesn't offer an option to delete them. This can become overwhelming if you frequently create new wallpapers. While Apple hasn't clarified why this option is missing from the settings menu, there is another way to remove these wallpapers. Here's how.
First, lock your iPhone and then tap the screen to wake it up. Don't unlock your phone yet. Instead, press and hold on the wallpaper. This will take you to the wallpaper selection screen.
In this screen, similar to the settings menu, you can scroll through, choose different wallpapers, create new ones, and edit existing ones.
To delete a wallpaper, find the one you want to remove, and swipe up on it.
You'll see a trash can icon appear. Tap on it, and then confirm the deletion in the pop-up menu at the bottom of the screen.
While Apple may include this option in the settings menu in the future, for now, this is how you can delete wallpapers on your iPhone.
