In this video we go through transition denials in some of the most common positions you'll find yourself in on EA Sports UFC 5. Like and Subscribe for more tutorials!
I was losing my shit in a daily fight, I was unable to defend how quickly takedowns happened, was unable to defend from below, move around, I spent 13 minutes under Covington. Literally spent 3 rounds just laying there... so fucking miserable my first time ever playing a UFC game so its a bad taste so far
Try holding this r2 button longer. If you just click when you see the transition most of the time the input won't go in. So when you're down, basically just hold r2 unless you want to strike or transition. So when you have to deny, you are already holding the r2 and just have to flick the right stick in the direction
@joeswanson401Would you happen to remember what that video was called, I'd love to get a more in depth explanation on how to deal with the ground game. Love your profile name and pic btw lol.
Well nice advice but these don't apply to online when mfs just transition light speed, and even if i "deny" their move, they do it anyways. Its so sad that in order to play the "full" game ,and not just stand and bang, you have to be a fucking no lifer learning and training on all the mechanics and movements
This shit just like ufc 4ass everytime get take down i let my stamina try to go up on its own and then i keep getting hit and im knocked out can’t even defend myself especially inna submission hold i get put in let my stamina try to go up i have no choice but to try to fight it out and still i lose😂
Probably just because they did the transition again after your first denial. Just because you deny them once doesn't mean they can't throw it right back at you immediately after!
You need to play with a human. The CPU sucks at this, and it does not help you need find a friend and do it as they will be able to fake transitions the cpu rarely does that I find it easy to drain the cpu stamina then Sub them
Any clue why sometimes when I'm on the ground on my back with the opponent directly on top of me (being all sexy with his bad self) I sometimes cannot block strikes thrown and end up losing fights that I was otherwise winning? For some reason sometimes when I'm on my back my guy refuses to block his face even when I'm holding R2. Other times he blocks while on the ground with no problems even when I'm beat the fuck up and feel like I'm going to lose. Is block breaking a thing even when I'm being a bottom boy trying to fend off this sexy beast and all his fury?
Yeah, I forgot to mention in the vid that this is using legacy controls. I'm pretty sure the denial controls are actually the same when using grapple assist, but the HUD looks different. I'd recommend getting used to legacy controls because it gives you way more options!
These games nowadays do too much. There’s no earthly reason for all these commands for only a fraction of gameplay. After the 6 buttons for street fighter two they should have stopped with all this extra stuff. I no longer like wwe, ufc or the various fighting games that I loved as an adolescent. Those were the days when you had to get the strategy guide and study it to memorize moves. Who remembers the strategy guides? Boyyyyyyyy….these kids don’t know NOTHING about that strategy guide!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂Probably because they can’t read but that’s a different issue altogether….
I’m literally moving it when the body moves and it doesn’t deny every time my timing is down the direction is correct yet they move through it🤷♂️ ground game is broken 🐱 moves when they lose 🤣
It's all down to connection to some games You are a split second out, so you will struggle to deny it works both ways. Some games you catch it next game you can't deny anything and they can.
as if the game wasnt already hard enough lmao , even with the arrows its not guaranteed that it works and they only show up very briefly @@jeremiahcalle63
